Answer:	I don’t believe it is high enough to reduce foot swelling in totality. However, it is elevated which opens up the bend made at the knee when you sit upright. This can reduce swelling

Answer:	Some workable answers already. I have used strap wrenches, although they are a little bit unwieldy. A large pair of these Cobra pliers would work, although it would likely damage the lid. Soft-jaw pliers would be better (I think that both Crescent and Knipex sell these). This inexpensive handheld item (search on Amazon) is supposed to good up to about 3": "Bottle Opener for Twist-Off Type Caps." The best choice, it appears to me, would be this inexpensive cabinet undermount unit that is supposed to be good up to 6" (and is rated at 4.8): "The Grip Jar Opener."

Answer:	The foot levelers can be adjusted to make the desk level.
Question:	How much weight can the desktop safely hold
Answer:	Unfortunately, the stool comes separately from the desk. It is a very heavy, sturdy stool. The base is wide, so that it doesn't tip easily.
