Answer:	No it's not. It's foam beneath the fabric cover. I've spilled things on it, and it soaked right in. I was able to soak it up with a towel, but yeah, it sunk right in.

Answer:	We returned this because the seat itself was far to rigid for someone with severe back problems. The icepack didn't stay put (which was an additional problem), as for temperature, I can't help you. It never got that far in use or application.

Answer:	I leave mine in my car in frigid Minneapolis with no leakage.
Question:	do you have to freeze the gel pack? if so , how long it stays cold
Answer:	In order to get the gel pack cold, it is recommended that you place it in the freezer for about 4 hours before use. Once you take it out of the freezer and put it in the center cutout, it should stay cold for about 4-6 hours for you. Question:	what is the size of the cushion
Answer:	17.2 x 13.8 x 3 inches (as the description says). Essentially, almost the same size as a regular office chair seat.
Question:	Can it be used on a plane seat
Answer:	When I sit in my office chair in order to get my butt on the pillow where I need it I have to put a pillow (I use a neck roll) behind my back so I don't know if that would be an issue on a plane or not so you might want to take something with you. Keep in mind I am only 4'10" and weigh 119 lbs. I feel that if I was bigger that might not be an issue. It has helped my IC tremendously!! We fly a lot and I've never had problems with my IC on a plane so I don't take it with me. It just seems to be in my office chair because I have to sit all day and I slouch over my desk. The pillow forces helps me sit up straighter.I see other comments about it being hard and they returned it. It did take me several days to get used to it but it has softened up a little and I find it very comfortable. The support is necessary for the pillow to do it's job!

Question:	need it for Daddys wheel chair.does it retain shape,is it large enough
Answer:	the trick is giving it a flat surface to support it. I have a office chair the seat of which curves down in the middle by filling that space with a small old worn pillow it works much better and has held it shape with out any sign of collapsing. I would suggest a hard non-flexible seat cushion or padded board to put the Kabooti on top of for a wheel chair because of the inward sag of the seat would tend to defeat the opening for the coxes, but only if he is alert and steady.
