Answer:	I bought this chair for my husband and he's not a big guy...I think the weight limit is 250 though.

Answer:	At the lowest setting the height is 18" but it is also very deep so sitting back all the way would cause the bend in the leg for a shorter person to not fit properly. The chair I use now is 15" from floor to seat and fits fine.

Answer:	The base is metal. Its a very well made chair.

Answer:	It’s quite firm. A lot of chairs have that seat portion that is quite bulbous and sturdy. This is sturdy without that plush portion. It’s sleek, comfortable and I don’t really know how to tell you what’s it’s made out of but it’s not that kind of fabric you get in most chairs, like there’s not threaded lines or anything. It’s like pleather-ish kind of thing.

Answer:	Not quite that tall. About half of your head would be supported.
Question:	Are the arms set too high such that it doesn't get under your desk
Answer:	That would depend on the height of your desk and how high you raise the chair itself. My husband uses it and it stores under the desk. He is 6’3” so maybe he does have it low, but I’m 5’3” and even when I sit in it it’s comfortable.
