I give my dog this food since puppy and one day I had to take him to the vet because he ate a plastic small piece of a toy, my grandchild left on the floor while playing. The vet took an x-ray and he immediately turn to me and asked,"what food are you giving him?" I told him Wellness, why? He said that he had never seen such good skeleton on a dog before and this was a reflection of the food he ate. The toy was so small that he gave him a medicine that caused him diarrhea and he expel it the next day.

Answer:	I have a lab/ husky mix and this is what I feed her. The pieces aren't very big but they aren't tiny either. The food is not for large or small breed its for the average/ medium size puppies. I don't think my chihuahua would eat it but I think medium size and up would have no problem. The pieces are about the size of training treats. I'll add a picture if I can :)
