Answer:	The book of directions says it will block up to 250 calls. I have only blocked about 20 numbers ( you know who they are from!!! ) I do know that thesebastards will call back on another number if they can. Answer:	I used to have the Panasonic KX-TG4031 set, and could literally, no kidding, walk 1/3 of a MILE away from the base before losing signal. I'd do that often while training a little pup to work cows. I had a headset on as well with the handset/beltclip, so my hands were free to signal to the dog with minimal voice commands to her. Did I say ONE THIRD OF A M-I-L-E? I couldn't believe it when I first tested it with my brother on the line with me, and as I kept walking further, the age-old Verizon question continued: Can you hear me now? How 'bout now? Truly amazing phone set is my point here. Get any of them, you won't be disappointed. I like the looks of the black sets myself. Personal preference. Battery life is also outstanding on these handsets. Good luck. Three floors shouldn't be a problem, but my walk was completely outside, uninterrupted by anything that would interfere with phone signal. The manufactuerer's response is a valid one of course. It naturally depends on what material exists between base and handsets.

Answer:	Yes, you can cancell ATT. Also, if porting your existing number there is a charge from Ooma if you are not signing up for their 1 year Premier Service. Which i did not, so they charged me which was fine, but i looked a few days later and found that they billed me a 2nd time for the Porting of the Phone Number. i contacted them and they credited the 2nd charge. Not sure if this is common, just pay attention to your billing history on the Ooma Dashboard.

Answer:	At obitalk.com, you can set up to 4 VoIP services/lines like Google Voice. Each Google Voice number would require a separate Google Account. You can then configure each service to ring your physical phone for incoming calls or not. To make outgoing calls for lines 2-4, you would first dial **2, **3, or **4 and then the 10 digit phone number (or 7 digits if you enabled 7-digit dialing). If you require 2 jacks, e.g., one for a phone and the other one for a fax machine, then you need the OBi202 adapter instead.

You are technically OK if one of your phones has it so if you have a landline or a voip provider that has it, you don't need to set it up on every account but you should not enable it on accounts that do not actually have it. You do have to check a box in the obi setup if you do wish to use the 911 services and select which service provides it for you. Since google does not provide it, you can use a 3rd party of your choice. The Obi setup will prompt you about it and you have to acknowledge that you have been notified. You don't have to subscribe to the any Obi services or any other but many include e911 and have very low per minute rates so you can get your phone service from a provider that also gives e911 as you would have to pay at least 1.00/month for e911 alone. I got rid of my landlines and now I see my monthly phone bill below 5.00 with 2 phone numers on paid VOIP providers and 1 free google voice line that's just for a fax machine. Welcome to the 21st century.
Question:	So, i'm confused, you can't just use google voice for free with this, you have to pay for a voip service, too
Answer:	I call my wife daily in Germany. From my home phone (Google Voice), I'm charged $.01 per minute, and I'm told this every time I call. If I call her cell phone I'm charged $.03 per minute. I don't know anybody who would complain about $1.80 an hour to call an overseas cell phone.
Question:	I want to transfer 2 different phone lines, and I want to keep my original phone numbers. Also, does my compter have to be 'on' for phones to work
Answer:	If the 2 phone lines are cell phone numbers, switching it over to Google Voice is very easy. Go to Google Voice settings (upper right hand corner with the cog wheel symbol) and add the phone number. If you are trying to change your landline number over because you want to keep the same number, it's a two step process. but you will have to port your number over to a mobile service such as T-mobile first and then port it to Google Voice (GV) since GV only accepts mobile numbers. You can get instructions on how to do this on the obihai.com website under "tutorials and tips" and then "port your number to google voice". You can do this for about $10 by buying a SIM card to temporarily hold your ported landline number. It's not too painful and totally worth it! Good luck.
