Question:	can it do conference calling
Answer:	Yes - refer to page 33 in the manual under 'silent mode'. Set the beginning and end time one minute apart (ex: begin 10:30pm - end 10:29pm.) This will turn the ringer off on the cordless unit. Do this on the cordless hand set you want to silence. It took me awhile to figure this out. Hope this helps.I use the hand set as a bedroom ex. If you want it to come back on during certain times set the on/off times accordingly. Mine stays off at all times.

Answer:	The headset did not come with the phone system, I bought it separate. But yes, it does have a clip to attach to your shirt/belt and the sound quality is excellent.
Question:	battery life on a call 1-2 hours ? before needing to put on charger
Answer:	I see that the comments on the headset jack show that there is not one on the base unit. Those comments were made in 2015 and it is now 2019. Have they updated to include a headset jack on base and if so, what headsets can be used that have two ear coverings rathe than just the one with a band to your head on the other side. Answer:	Yes, it will work. Just plug into one of the wall jack and to the cordless phone base.
Question:	Can I block a number after I have hung up on the caller
Answer:	Yes, you will have to go on the caller list, find the number then press the BLOCK CALL red button, and confirm your block by pressing the Menu/OK button to put the number into memory.
Question:	Is it possible to turn off the caller id announcement which announces name or the number of callers so i do not have to listen to that
Answer:	It can turn OFF by the following setting. Menu, select "Talking CID", OK, Select the desired setting, OK, Exit.
Question:	Can you enter a number )from the phone) to unblock it. Or must you find it from a very large blocked list
Answer:	If your caller's number is still in Call History, then just use the Unblock button on it when you see it. If it is not there then, you can easily delete that number with program control using Code 98 then that number then the * key. To access programming, just pick up the phone connected to the ProSeries blocker, dial # # and wait for the Beep, then dial 98 [the number] then * and you will hear two Beeps to let you know it is deleted.
Question:	The manual says out of area calls are blocked. Does that mean all calls from outside my area code are blocked
Answer:	NO. Out of Area just by itself is blocked. However, if you need all Out of Area calls to ring through then use the override command of Code 76. Callers from all area codes will ring through like normal because they will have person's real names and numbers, not Out of Area. Additionally, if they do, then you can use the Invite button to override that blocked number even from Out of Area.
Question:	I have the original Digitone model -I’m getting the message that the block list is full. Is there a way to fix it or will this one do the same thing
Answer:	You can enable Code 46 to start deleting really old numbers from the beginning of the block list. The automatic memory management will prevent you from running into Full issues again. Once you enable this method you can start blocking numbers again. Any numbers that continue to be harassing repeaters can just be entered into the non auto delete list with Code 40 [Number] * key which will never be deleted by Code 46.
Question:	How many numbers can you manually block before it gets full, or older numbers are auto deleted
Answer:	The ProSeries II will store 800 numbers, area codes, wildcard strings or any combination of these and auto delete older numbers on a continuous basis in Virtual Memory. However, if you manually code the numbers in with code 40, these entries will not be included in the auto delete function and remain stored. From our past customers' experience, it was noted that they had not yet 'filled' the blocked number storage in over 5 years. So 800 number allotment is more than enough to satisfy your yearly storage, particularly with the preloaded millions of known out of area and other numbers already blocked.

Answer:	A phone is a phone, doesn't matter who your landline service is. Even a home VOIP service from a cable company transforms to analog in the home. The only phone system this wouldn't work with is a digital PBX system used in businesses. Those use specific IP phones.

Question:	does it work when the electricity goes off
Answer:	Yes this works without batteries and with out external electricity source when plugged into a traditional telephone landline service. Digital Phone like xfinity or At&t U-Verse may not work in a power outage because the phone line will be powered by a cable modem/router which gets it's power from your 120vac wall outlet. I bought a UPS battery backup formy cable modem and PC so they stay powered on for up to 60 min on a power outage. Assuming the cable provider still has electricity and their servers and internet don't go down, you should still have phone service. Even cellular companies can lose electricity causing an phone outage. Historically Old fashioned landline has been the most reliable in power outages.
