Answer:	Sorry, there is no indicator light. The only way to know if a message is there, is when you pick the phone up to dial. I needed a quick replacement and I have other phones with indicators, so not much of a problem for me.

Answer:	Only have had the phone since June 2013 and have not replaced any batteries.
Question:	When calling somebody, the person on the other line can not hear anything. Is this because a DSL filter is needed or do I have a defective product
Answer:	The DSL filter allows you to use the phone on the same line as a computer. The person on the end of the line should be able to hear you with or without the filter as long as the call went through. Check to see if the Mute button has been inadvertently pressed. It lights up red at the lower left side of your phone. When it's on, the person you're talking to can't hear you. If that's not it, you can call Customer Servive at (800) 222-3111 or go to www.telephones.att.com. Hope this helped.

Answer:	Yes, via the handset jack on the phone base. Note the handset extension cord in "bought together", also check instruction manual and you'll see that the handset cord is a separate piece. But, note Micubed1's comment. This does NOT have a 2.5 mm jack. You need to use a headset with amplifier that plugs into the handset jack (RJ11). Jabra is an example.

I would suggest that anyone who is in between sizes order up as I don't think it is a style that would look good unless it was fairly loose fitting, but some of that is a matter of taste. For warm weather, I always prefer looses fitting clothes. FYI, the Large has a bust measurement of about 42 inches. It's hard to give a hip measurement because of the shape, but I would say roughly 46 to 48 inches.
