Answer:	I purchased a new set of these phones to replace a worn out 10 year old Panasonic set. I did notice the batteries needed to be fully charged 3 or 4 times before reaching max talk time. After a week or so on my desk ( and FULLY charging the batteries every other day) the phones now hold a charge quite well. These phones also provide an audible prompt when the battery level is low. I feel the batteries need to be 'conditioned' with repeated LOW BATTERY and FULLY CHARGED cycles before holding the longer charges. After a month or so of daily use I'm well satisfied with this set.

Answer:	It can be moved as long as it's connected to an outlet and the home phone base. The home phone base is also portable (meaning it is not plugged into a phone jack)

Answer:	This device is currently locked to the AT&T network, and will not work with other SIM cards as is. However, AT&T indicates that this device can be unlocked by submitting your information at https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/ You should then be able to use your Straight Talk SIM card.
Question:	Will these batteries work for vtech cordless phone model ds
Answer:	Haven't done it myself, but basically by disconnecting your house from the incoming phone line, this allows the telephone wiring in your home to function as an extended cord between the unit and your phones. Plugging multiple phones directly into the unit usually has a limit due to the drop in the signal strength needed in order to trigger the phones to ring. With no connection to the outside phone line, I don't know if this limitation also applies (ie: will plugging too many non-cordless or base-unit phones into household outlets connected via this method cause them to not ring?). One thing to bear in mind is that even if you cancel your phone services, if your house is still connected to the phone lines, then you should still have 911 access. If you completely disconnect your home from the incoming phone line however, you will be relying entirely on your cellular signal for any 911 response.

Answer:	There are 2 separate jacks on the bottom of the phone. The first is a combo line1/line2. The second is a standalone line 2. I have 2 separate phone lines plugged into mine. There is also an RJ45 jack on the bottom marked "data".
Question:	can the main base unit be wall mounted
Answer:	Our phone service is through Comcast, so we plug the main element into a modem. Smaller elements, which have a wireless "connection" to the main element, are plugged into an electrical outlet. If your phone service is through a landline, you likely would have to use a wall jack for the main element. Call your provider.
