Answer:	It takes standard 35mm slides or film strips only. Most of mine are from the 50s and 60s. What size film were you using?

Answer:	Yes it works with mounted slides. Aren't all slides mounted? However the slider mechanism jams regularly and has to be pulled out of the ION and you have to fiddle with it to get the slides to go through.

Question:	I have slides from the '50s and '60s that are 2 1/2 inch squares. Will these fit into this converter
Answer:	No. Great sound, but light on bass and not nose cancelling.
Question:	where can i get a manual for this product
Answer:	The plug on the E4000 is 1/8" or 2.5mm. Your Sony receiver headphone jack is probably 1/4" or 6.35mm. If this is the case, you will need a 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor to connect the E4000 to your receiver.
Question:	How fast can you feed the slides and what is the capacity of the feeder? Image shows a handful of slides

Answer:	the E400 has detachable MMCX connector cables. Any cable with MMCX connectors should work. There are also Bluetooth MMCX connectors available if you choose to go that route. Example: Shure BT1 / BT2. Westone has a Bluetooth MMCX connector as well. Try searching Amazon for 'MMCX cable with microphone'.

Question:	What is the tv jack for? the manual said it is a phone jack, but none of tv has a phone plug
Answer:	While it's true that camera "film" can't be exposed to light, DEVELOPED film becomes a "negative", which CAN be exposed to light. So far, I've converted about 200 35 mm slides to digital photos without any problems. I haven't tried using negatives yet, but I'm sure the result will be the same. It's a fantastic little machine.
Question:	Can this scan 120 film
Answer:	With a Mac, you have to save images to an SD card or the device's built-in memory (only 128 MB). Then you choose USB Upload and you can transfer the images to your computer.
Question:	Are the Reels for 8mm film scanning included or are they an extra cost? None are shown in the advertisement
Answer:	I'm not sure about that as I have only produced a digital image from a negative.
Question:	Does this connect to the computer to save the photos onto hard drive or do you need the SD card
Answer:	Not being an expert on the computer, I am not sure what "ntsc" means, but I do NOT use an sd card with my Kodak Scanner. I have the scanner plugged directly into my laptop, and the digital images go straight to the E drive, from where I easily put them into folders under My Pictures. So far I have done about 1,100 slides, and I am so very happy with the quality of the digital images. I also have had fun editing for brightness and color. Many of my digital images are better than the original slides! I am extremely happy with this product.

Answer:	That is a system date from the camera. I don't think it cab be changed I personally like knowing when the picture was taken

Answer:	I am only aware of the 35mm tray and the one for negatives that comes with the converter. I do give it a huge thumbs up for slides!!
Question:	How do you rate the automatic color adjustment feature? Are you pleased with the quality of the slide conversions and quality of product
Answer:	Since I haven't done this on any other converter, I can't compare this converter with any others. I was surprised that I could adjust some slides that I could not make out what it was a picture of so it was clear enough to see. My slides are about 40 years old and I was so pleased with the quality of my pictures.

Question:	Does this scan 35mm undeveloped film or just negatives
Answer:	Film has to be developed before scanning, otherwise, there would not be an image to scan. It will scan black and white, and color negatives and reverse the contrast to make a positive computer file. It will scan color slides which are already positive.

Answer:	Yes it does
Question:	I want to convert 8mm film to digitized film. I don't want jpeg. I want to be able to play on something like windows media player will this work

Question:	I have a film that is 3x3cm, would this work
Answer:	I have used the unit quite a lot. Have not used with 3cm x 3cm but should be able to hack the holder to allow you to copy and digitize the film.
