Answer:	I am so sorry you're having trouble finding your scans. To find your scans by plugging the scanner into your Mac; first, make sure to turn the scanner on once it's plugged in, then open a new finder window. The scanner should show up under devices as "NO NAME" in the sidebar of the finder window. Answer:	This item is simply a hard-shell case for the Epson WorkForce Scanner; the scanner itself is sold separately. (When I purchased the scanner, it only came with a soft case, which didn't protect it well enough for travel.) To answer your question, yes, you can scan an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper with the scanner.
Question:	where are the linux drivers
Answer:	The case is zippered and it measures 11 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide on the right side. I have a Epson DS-30 portable scanner and it fits perfectly. On the left inside it measures the same, but there is a netted pocket that stores the USB cord to the scanner. If you use your scanner on the go like I do, I would definitely recommend this case, its durable & sturdy. The felt bag that came with the scanner is just a dust cover as far as I'm concerned. Answer:	You mean is picture to thick? or the tape still sticky? Z300 can accept about 0.76mm (0.03") , and is the tape still very sticky? or just like normal 3M sticky note? if sticky note, that will be ok. but after you scan, please use wiping cloth clean scanner roller and glass.

Answer:	Nope. It will not. A crease on a paper will already cause a jam on the equipment.

Answer:	I scan the docs, it goes to a local folder as a temporary and then rename/re-file them elsewhere. No cloud needed.
Question:	To use it as a thermometer or temperature scanner on the kids, do we still need the USB connection to PC or connect USB cable to kids
Answer:	Girls, left nostril. Boys, right nostril. Make sure you are plugging it into THEIR left and right, not facing them. It's not like a car battery, though. If you plug it into the wrong nostril, it's not going to do any damage to their system. It simply won't scan. Either way, you stand a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time. This only matters if the kid is under 2 years of age. After that, either can be used--kind of like an electrical outlet allows you to use the top or bottom to plug in. Good luck!

Answer:	Hello, this scanner is made by built-in WIFI. You don't need to have internet on your device. The scanner is more like a mobile WIFI. You just need to open "WIFI" from scanner and connect your device to the WIFI that scanner creates with password. Then available to get the scans.
Question:	Does anyone with a Mac use this without the software? Is it worth it
Answer:	I have a Mac but I also have a Windows laptop. What I do is scan onto the wand and then connect the wand to the laptop through the USB and transfer the scans onto my Windows laptop. So I'm not using the software-I wasn't able to figure out how to get it to work so I decided to do it this way instead.
Question:	How well does it scan recipes from a book
Answer:	I am using it to scan my father's journal and it works pretty well so it would probably workk to scan recipes from a book, as long as the book can be opened pretty wide.

Begin your wonderful experience on scanning:

1. Long press on "Scan" to activate and short press to begin scanning, one more short press to finish scanning. Do you really know your friend?

If you meet a situation like this, your scans come out very dark and not clear, the scanner keeps red light on or doesn't scan effectively, please teach a lesson to this slack boy with extensive calibration process

1. clean scanning glass with included clean cloth
2. put the scanner in a white paper
3. keep pressing the "UP Button" , then press "Scan" to start calibration process
4. Once the LCD show "Scroll Scanner" , start to scan with smooth sliding until the LCD display nothing
5. The slack boy become diligent again

Answer:	Hi Alfredo,It does connect to a computer via a USB port (Mini-B plug on the scanner), but it switches to SD card reader mode so that the SD card appears as a USB flash drive. There doesn't appear to be an option to scan directly into software running on a computer. The scanner has no problems scanning checks and is especially good at scanning long receipts that don't fit on a regular flatbed scanner.

Answer:	It will scan business cards, however syncing with outlook is dependent on the software you use. The new scanners come with nuance paperport software which is quite powerful but im unsure of that particular function.

Answer:	The Docking station, while plugged to a USB power source, can power the wand scanning and charging it while docked, but the charged wand cannot power the docking station; so scanning with the docking station is only possible with USB Power. Answer:	Yes. Depending on the quality of the photo and the paper itself, it may leave some lines with photos with a lot of black colors. Otherwise,it is a great product for the dollars. I used it recently on a geneology trip to Tennessee where I scanned photos from books as well as documents.The documents can be scanned as jpeg or PDF depending what you want. Answer:	This is selling with the wrong part number. It is not wifi but does have the screen with preview of your scan. The correct part number I believe is PDS-ST441-VP. Hope this helps.

"(Says nothing about the MAC in regards to the ABBYY OCR software.) Have only been using this w/the SD card - works very nicely.

Answer:	No, Barbie, it does not have a display window. Since it has WiFi, I use my Ipod Touch with the Magic Wand app to view the scans quickly without connecting to my computer. Works very well.

Answer:	Yes, it will do color and black & white.

Answer:	I'm not aware of an auto feed dock. I bought an item that you mount the scanner to and lay your paper on it and move it by hand.

Answer:	if it is the same product line, then there is no difference except for the color. I did notice that there is quite a difference depending on the color you choose. For example, if you choose Teal or Black, the cost is higher than that of Purple.
