Answer:	Yes it will. My sister goes to the library and looks up things for the genealogy and scans everything, then all she has to do is put in order. It is all on a micro chip that can be downloaded on a flash drive or CD.

Answer:	I am so sorry you're having trouble finding your scans. To find your scans by plugging the scanner into your Mac; first, make sure to turn the scanner on once it's plugged in, then open a new finder window. The scanner should show up under devices as "NO NAME" in the sidebar of the finder window. Question:	How accurate is the included OCR software at interpreting text
Answer:	I did all of my scans as jpegs so they were very accurate. If you wanted something that you could edit, I really don't know the answer. One thing to consider... I used the scanner holder that kept it steady while scanning. This made a big difference. Scanning without the holder, everything was out of proportion and not worth doing.
Question:	When it scans it leaves big streaks on the image. I have cleaned it, done the white balance, formatted the micro card and now at a loss. Can you help
Answer:	Depends on the color of the streaks. If black, I would say you have a hardware problem and may nee to send it back (if new). If it is white streaks, then you may need to go slower. I bought and use the stand with mine to get a smooth even scan.

Answer:	I'm not positive because this was a gift for my son. As I understand, though, you run the scanner across whatever document you want to scan, so I don't know why you couldn't use it for a textbook. The information is stored on an SD card, so if there's room on that, you should be good.
