Answer:	You mean is picture to thick? or the tape still sticky? Z300 can accept about 0.76mm (0.03") , and is the tape still very sticky? or just like normal 3M sticky note? if sticky note, that will be ok. but after you scan, please use wiping cloth clean scanner roller and glass.

Question:	Will this work with macos big sur
Answer:	As of 1/25/21 the driver does not work properly with Big Sur 11.2 running on a 2020 M1 mac mini (it scans 1 document after a computer restart, then refuses to scan again unless computer is restarted!) Spoke with Canon cs who suggested that they are continuing to work on updates, but no target availability date yet. TWAIN driver also does not work with Apple's "image capture" software included with the M1 mini, and Canon doesn't have plans to update it. Sadly, the scanner hardware seems of very good quality and is very fast when the software works. Probably great on older OS's and machines. ***Discovered a workaround--immediately after restarting, the scanner will remain connected/fully functional for a minute or two, during which you can scan like mad until it times out and you are forced to restart again!

Answer:	Yes it does support up to legal size. I just got mine in yesterday and put it through the paces. I’m a mobile notary so scanning mixed paper sizes in the same scan is a must. It scanned letter and legal with no problems and quickly. It even says it can scan 11x14 in the brochure.

Answer:	Feeder works well, hasn't eaten any photos yet. The output tray is balky but adequate. Software can do color correction, either for each photo or as a preset.

Answer:	You cannot do that from the scanner. You would have to play around with the settings through the Xerox software. There are scan settings that change the brightness and contrast.

Answer:	This scanner is capable of that feature with a wi-fi adapter that can be purchased separately. Due to its size and mobility this scanner does not have that feature built in, however you may be able to find a different brand/model which would not be as mobile, and potentially even faster, for a comparable price with that feature built-in.

Answer:	The major difference in the two scanners is the display, which will give you options to scan directly to different destinations without a computer.

Answer:	It has 600dpi option. However, there are scanners that have 1200dpi out there, 600dpi is pretty good but not perfect, but it could be good enough for you. There is an auto-cropping functionality, so it will crop the scan to just the size of the image. However, there could be situations that this feature doesn't work super well such as cropping too much or too less when the photo is a little bit tilted. Overall, if you have a LOT of photos, this can be used for quick backing up purpose.

Answer:	The Brother ADS-2200 desktop scanner is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 compatible machine. It can scan to email by using the Brother iPrint& Scan software to Scan to File, and then attaching directly to an outgoing email.
Question:	When scanning 2 sided documents, are the pages properly collated into a document are are they generated as anindividual file per page
Answer:	One Batch of documents scanned (as full batch) comes out as "One" scanned item. Supposed you scanned 15 two sided docs. it will appear in one icon and the file can be read/stored for your review.

Question:	will it work with polaroid photos
Answer:	I have used it on Polaroid photos. Note that such photos tend to fade over time. So you will be freezing them at their current state of deterioration.
Question:	does this scan "old" black and white negatives and allow for printing from an SD card
Answer:	I have never used it on negatives. The instructions say it works on 35 mm, 110, and 126 negatives.
Question:	Is there any photo editing software included for when you transfer photos to your computer
Answer:	No software is needed to transfer photos to your computer. The Magnasonic creates jpg images that can be transferred via included SD card or USB cable. This unit makes transferring photos super easy. It ROCKs!

Question:	What is the tv jack for? the manual said it is a phone jack, but none of tv has a phone plug
Answer:	While it's true that camera "film" can't be exposed to light, DEVELOPED film becomes a "negative", which CAN be exposed to light. So far, I've converted about 200 35 mm slides to digital photos without any problems. I haven't tried using negatives yet, but I'm sure the result will be the same. It's a fantastic little machine.
Question:	Can this scan 120 film
Answer:	With a Mac, you have to save images to an SD card or the device's built-in memory (only 128 MB). Then you choose USB Upload and you can transfer the images to your computer.
Question:	Are the Reels for 8mm film scanning included or are they an extra cost? None are shown in the advertisement
Answer:	I'm not sure about that as I have only produced a digital image from a negative.
Question:	Does this connect to the computer to save the photos onto hard drive or do you need the SD card
Answer:	Not being an expert on the computer, I am not sure what "ntsc" means, but I do NOT use an sd card with my Kodak Scanner. I have the scanner plugged directly into my laptop, and the digital images go straight to the E drive, from where I easily put them into folders under My Pictures. So far I have done about 1,100 slides, and I am so very happy with the quality of the digital images. I also have had fun editing for brightness and color. Many of my digital images are better than the original slides! I am extremely happy with this product.

Answer:	Our ScanSnap models do not have TWAIN compatibility. However, the ScanSnap iX1600 is bundled with the ScanSnap Home software. We recommend saving the files to your local drive and uploading to the desired TWAIN application. We also have our fi-Series models which are TWAIN compatible.
Question:	Does it recognize words and send to the appropriate folder? For instance Alliant Energy will it automatically go to that file
Answer:	On the LCD touch screen panel, hold the "Scan" button for 3 seconds until it turns yellow. Answer:	The ScanSnap iX1600 scanning speed is faster at 40 pages per minute. The ScanSnap iX1600 includes an LCD touch screen panel for better operability. The ScanSnap iX1600 can directly connect to computer and mobile devices via Wi-Fi as well as be shared with multiple users. The ScanSnap iX1600 has fast startup capability. The manual scan mode on the ScanSnap iX1600 allows user to scan a broader variety of paper thickness as well as folded A3 paper.

Answer:	The difference of hardware is only scanning speed (the iX1600 is 40 ppm and the iX1500 is 30 ppm).
