Answer:	Even worst, it will not install on Win-7 either. Understand - It installs ok. It just wont connect to the reg server, when I know my Hi-Speed connection is working fine. It ask you to enter code then click "Activate Now!". So I do, then you get an error message - #0: Machine offline or Server down. It also states "Received content of invalid content (when I know it's right.) So tech support e-mailed me a 2nd activation code, it still didn't work either. So then it states - You are not registered. So I go online to their site and register. It still will not connect to their server to activate. It's Their Server That Is The Problem. Tech says they want permission to look inside my computer. NEVER! It's the only program that I could not install Ever!!!

Answer:	I don't think it reads anything! The instructions it comes with are minimal and although I have downloaded and printed a pdf of a manual, I have found it useless for reading Chinese so it is currently in its box in a cupboard somewhere. Maybe I'm stupid, but I was not impressed.

Answer:	sorry no idea. ask the manufacturer.
Question:	Does it work with black background and white letter
Answer:	We did try it on a jar and a box. Found that it did not work for us. I might suggest you take a picture of the label with a smartphone. The phone has a reader or once you enlarge the printing the pen should work. However the CPen is great for reading letters or larger print then labels. I might also suggest contacting the manufacturer as they may have a suggestion.

Answer:	It's not a translator. If you scan English words, it will read them to you. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	S/N 2415416040002335 is the number on the back. I bought mine in the US, but it speaks British English. We don't care though, my daughter thinks it's cool. I think it may be possible to download more languages from the company, but we haven't tried it.
