Set up the scanner in a more user-friendly way:

How to level up to the scanning master ?

1. Available to scan 8.5" wide and up to 9.8" high. For example, flexible to scan a book horizontally or vertically, according to the size of book.
2. Scanning in horizontal way would be easier than scanning in vertical way. If you can’t scan steadily, we suggest you try this way.
3. Don’t scan too slow/quick. Don’t need to scan in uniform speed. The red error indication light would show if scan too fast. The scanner would stop scanning if scan too slow. *Just scan in a not fast and slow speed, no need for uniform speed.

1. clean scanning glass with included clean cloth
2. put the scanner in a white paper
3. keep pressing the "JPG/PDF Button" , then press "Scan" to start calibration process
4. Once the red light stop flashing, start to scan with smooth sliding until the green light stop flashing.
5. The slack boy become diligent again

To find your scans by plugging the scanner into your Mac; first, make sure to turn the scanner on once it's plugged in, then open a new finder window. The scanner should show up under devices as "NO NAME" in the sidebar of the finder window. Question:	Is it compatible with Windows
Answer:	This is a case. Scanner sold separately.
Question:	Does it alllow you to make folders and save documents on your computer to keep it all organized
Answer:	This item is simply a hard-shell case for the Epson WorkForce Scanner; the scanner itself is sold separately. (When I purchased the scanner, it only came with a soft case, which didn't protect it well enough for travel.) To answer your question, yes, you can scan an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper with the scanner.
Question:	where are the linux drivers
Answer:	The case is zippered and it measures 11 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide on the right side. I have a Epson DS-30 portable scanner and it fits perfectly. On the left inside it measures the same, but there is a netted pocket that stores the USB cord to the scanner. If you use your scanner on the go like I do, I would definitely recommend this case, its durable & sturdy. The felt bag that came with the scanner is just a dust cover as far as I'm concerned. Answer:	Yes, you need to put your paper flat for high resolution scanning copy.
Question:	How do you download this from the scanner server if you don't have internet
Answer:	Hello, this scanner is made by built-in WIFI. You don't need to have internet on your device. The scanner is more like a mobile WIFI. You just need to open "WIFI" from scanner and connect your device to the WIFI that scanner creates with password. Then available to get the scans.
Question:	Does anyone with a Mac use this without the software? Is it worth it
Answer:	I have a Mac but I also have a Windows laptop. What I do is scan onto the wand and then connect the wand to the laptop through the USB and transfer the scans onto my Windows laptop. So I'm not using the software-I wasn't able to figure out how to get it to work so I decided to do it this way instead.
Question:	How well does it scan recipes from a book
Answer:	I am using it to scan my father's journal and it works pretty well so it would probably workk to scan recipes from a book, as long as the book can be opened pretty wide.

Tips for Use

Begin your wonderful experience on scanning:

1. Long press on "Scan" to activate and short press to begin scanning, one more short press to finish scanning. NOTICE: Please put the scanner on the document before scanning, then press "scan" and slide the scanner through the document. DON'T press the "scan" before putting scanner on the document.
2. After scanning, press "Playback" to review your scanning. LCD screen allows for reviews of scanned images to ensure you have captured all that you needed before you leave the premises. (optional)
3. Press Menu, Up, Down to move the scan and check, press "Playback" to magnify your scan. (optional)
4. Finally press the "Scan" to finish.
5. Get the scans through USB/WIFI. In WIFI way, Press "Setting Key" and choose WIFILINK
6. After display show WIFI, connect your device to built-in WIFI of scanner named ScannerXXX
7. Open browser on your device and access 192.168.10.1
8. Input Username (admin) and Password (admin) to access

Do you really know your friend?

Sometime the scanner will become slack.

If you meet a situation like this, your scans come out very dark and not clear, the scanner keeps red light on or doesn't scan effectively, please teach a lesson to this slack boy with extensive calibration process

1. clean scanning glass with included clean cloth
2. put the scanner in a white paper
3. keep pressing the "UP Button" , then press "Scan" to start calibration process
4. Once the LCD show "Scroll Scanner" , start to scan with smooth sliding until the LCD display nothing
5. The slack boy become diligent again
6. Notice: Set up video link is on the point 3.
