Answer:	You cannot do that from the scanner. You would have to play around with the settings through the Xerox software. There are scan settings that change the brightness and contrast.

Their quality is good, the pages are still made out of a good sturdy paper and plastic and I like that refills can be added so you can get more pictures in them. I like looking at my pictures over and over and the albums are still in good shape. I have over fifty Photo albums starting back into the 1960’s so this should tell you how much I like them.

Answer:	In my opinion, the Epson Expression 12000XL-GA (along with its companion software application - LaserSoft SilverFast AI) is one of the best choices for scanning original art in general. I have not scanned any images from stretched canvas paintings specifically, but I can say that the scanner can easily accommodate stretched canvases because the attached lid/cover is adjustable to allow for thicker objects or can be removed if need be. In any case, I've found the image quality output to be exceptionally outstanding as well as accurate.

Answer:	The lid is easily removed. But there's a large button which the lid depresses when it's closed and this button will interfere with scanning oversize flat pieces. I use a piece of masking tape to hold it down and then scan large sheets easily.

Answer:	Yes! I have had great results with it. I had a micro tech for many years. I loved it but it finally gave out on me. The new ones are ridiculously expensive and their customer service is sub-par. I needed a lg. flatbed and decided to go with epson. I've had Epson printers for 20+ years and they are always reliable. Answer:	I use this to scan postcards, which are similar in thickness to baseball cards. Its works great for this. You can also adjust the brightness and contrast to get a good result.

It scans photographs somewhat well but its strong points are quick scans of documents (either color, b&w) and business cards and my grand kid's works of art! (except when the work of art involves pasting macaroni on the paper), it won't scan macaroni.

Question:	Will this work with macos big sur
Answer:	As of 1/25/21 the driver does not work properly with Big Sur 11.2 running on a 2020 M1 mac mini (it scans 1 document after a computer restart, then refuses to scan again unless computer is restarted!) Spoke with Canon cs who suggested that they are continuing to work on updates, but no target availability date yet. TWAIN driver also does not work with Apple's "image capture" software included with the M1 mini, and Canon doesn't have plans to update it. Sadly, the scanner hardware seems of very good quality and is very fast when the software works. Probably great on older OS's and machines. ***Discovered a workaround--immediately after restarting, the scanner will remain connected/fully functional for a minute or two, during which you can scan like mad until it times out and you are forced to restart again!

Answer:	Yes it does support up to legal size. I just got mine in yesterday and put it through the paces. I’m a mobile notary so scanning mixed paper sizes in the same scan is a must. It scanned letter and legal with no problems and quickly. It even says it can scan 11x14 in the brochure.

Answer:	Feeder works well, hasn't eaten any photos yet. The output tray is balky but adequate. Software can do color correction, either for each photo or as a preset.

It offers single-pass duplex scanning of black & white and color documents at speeds up to 35 pages per minute. The ADS-2700W is lightweight and compact, which saves desktop space, making it perfect for small offices or home offices. Question:	Does it scan photos well
Answer:	Yes, this tool allows the user to dial in a certain degree of resistance to "sweep" gauges. A card with multiple auto manufacturers resistance settings for water temp-oil pressure and fuel sender values is included. Tool is fairly accurate as far as pots go.
Question:	Does this one have autofeed or do you have to push a button for each page
Answer:	Not as far as I know. It is for testing resistance in gauges but not for testing speedometer accuracy.
Question:	Anyone did a comparison of ads-2700w vs ads-2800w
Answer:	this tool can be used on all makes in models .. its nothing but a big resistor you can hook it up to an ohm meter dial in the correct resistance then hook the leads up to the car or trucks pcm or ecm and check your scan tool data in a sense we could trick the engines pcm or ecm its a great tool if used correctly in conjunction with a scan tool and basic mulit meter great for diagnosis ...
