Answer:	IRIScan Desk is for Windows only for the moment. A Mac version is in development , to be released at the end of the year. IRIScan Desk user will have the possibility to get the Mac software for free when it's ready.
Question:	How is this for small artwork and drawings
Answer:	I would not recommend it for that. I have used this for documents/ID's and was not real happy with the quality of the scan. You can read everything but my 3 years old cell phone does a much better job.

Answer:	IRIScan Desk software allows you to convert documents to editable formats. It won't translate to another language directly but once the text is editable you can easily send in a third Party application like Google Translate.

Answer:	Yes, this tool allows the user to dial in a certain degree of resistance to "sweep" gauges. A card with multiple auto manufacturers resistance settings for water temp-oil pressure and fuel sender values is included. Tool is fairly accurate as far as pots go.

Answer:	this tool can be used on all makes in models .. its nothing but a big resistor you can hook it up to an ohm meter dial in the correct resistance then hook the leads up to the car or trucks pcm or ecm and check your scan tool data in a sense we could trick the engines pcm or ecm its a great tool if used correctly in conjunction with a scan tool and basic mulit meter great for diagnosis ...

Answer:	I wasn't able to get this model to connect to my wifi, maybe a bug with the software. Gave up after 1.5 hrs, sent it back and got the AD-1700. Connected to my wifi in 5 minutes using the LCD menus--way easier.
Question:	Would this be a good quality photo scanner, including older photos
Answer:	Generally, you're going to want a flatbed scanner for photos. If you only have a few heirloom photos to scan, I would personally take them to a place that specializes in photo scanning, and not bother with owning my own flatbed scanner. It's kind of like photo printing; you don't need to own your own dedicated photo-quality printer when the Staples up the street would do a better job for less price.

Question:	Does it alllow you to make folders and save documents on your computer to keep it all organized
Answer:	This item is simply a hard-shell case for the Epson WorkForce Scanner; the scanner itself is sold separately. (When I purchased the scanner, it only came with a soft case, which didn't protect it well enough for travel.) To answer your question, yes, you can scan an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper with the scanner.
Question:	where are the linux drivers
Answer:	The case is zippered and it measures 11 inches long x 2 1/4 inches wide on the right side. I have a Epson DS-30 portable scanner and it fits perfectly. On the left inside it measures the same, but there is a netted pocket that stores the USB cord to the scanner. If you use your scanner on the go like I do, I would definitely recommend this case, its durable & sturdy. The felt bag that came with the scanner is just a dust cover as far as I'm concerned. Answer:	I'm using a Neat Desk scanner to scan color pictures. By cutting and folding paper I fashioned guides on either side of the pictures to keep them square with the scanner. Resolution could be a little better, but the quality is okay for home pictures and the scanner is pretty fast and efficient.

Answer:	Amazon has a 30 day return policy, they do not have a manufacturer's warranty. And reading the warranty, it's worded in such a way as to think that perhaps I don't have a warranty. There is a limited warranty on the scanner itself, but they do not have a warranty for their software and BTW, their software doesn't work, and the scanner doesn't work without the software, so I now have a $400 piece of junk that I used twice, with difficulty, that I can't return.
