Answer:	It prints well on card stock. It curves the paper but it's easily straighten back out.

You may need to go onto the Brother's support website and make sure you download the very latest printer driver for your OS... I had to do that for my iMac before the duplex function worked correctly. Took 10 minutes and it worked perfectly. This printer is very fast and prints clean, crisp B&W and color. I've printed 30+ pages (in duplex) at the time without any problems.

Answer:	That is a great question! The truth is "no" toner does not dry up or evaporate like color ink does. I have owned several laser jet toner based printers for decades and some of them I haven't printed to in over a year and when I do use them the timer is ready to use instantly whenever I'm ready to send a print job. I love Brother printers. I also have their Intellifax 2820 all in one and the cartridge is easy to refine and reuse without dropping hundreds of dollars on a new toner cartridge. 123refills.net is a great source for replacement toner ranging for about 10 to 20 dollars to refill the cartridge. For the amount of use you will get and he quality, it cannot be beat. There are instructional videos that show you how to refill each style and model of toner cartridge. Sometimes you may need to buy a reset gear for the first time that you buy replacement toner for about $2 or $3 to tell the printer that the toner is full again. This is far superior to other brands like HP where you have to buy small reset chips that tell the printer that it is full. The reset gears can be used over and over. I've abandoned ink jet printers decades ago. The ink as you know evaporates if you don't print anything for a few months. In fact, I recently purchased this printer based on a YouTube video that shows how to clean the drum (when dots and streaks showed on my Intellifax printer) using a soft paper cloth and isopropyl alcohol and I instantly admired the quality of this unit. This new unit exceeded my expectations. The integration with PC's and Mac's is phenomenal. I can put a stack of papers to scan in the hopper, go to my Mac and hit scan and it makes a PDF or JPEG almost instantly it seems on my desktop, compared to my old xerox scanner that you have to have a USB wire plugged in to operate it. Plus it does duplex scanning and copying / printing. You get a lot of quality for a cheap price. I've seen other units go for $1500 or higher. Sure it is expensive, but for what you are getting it is well worth the price. Also, the other positive comment I have over my HP Color Laser is that these cartridges that come with this Brother printer are huge, compared to HP, so you are not likely to run out of toner as quickly as other Color Laser printers. I love this new printer. I just set it up a few nights ago. My wife does a lot of printing for work and when she is "burning the midnight oil" it's good to know that we now have more options if one of the printers is running low on toner and I'm too tired or don't have any replacement toner to refill the cartridges in one of our printers.
