Slices thru the raisins too. I hold the bagel in one hand, start slicing and when my palm reaches the plastic, I switch my hand to the top of the bagel and jiggle it through the slicer. Wipe it down and in the drawer it goes. I like that I don't have to balance my bagel on the counter or a plate to slice it with a regular bread knife. It does what it claims to do.

Question:	Will this connect an network with a T1 ethernet plug
Answer:	If the bagel is soft you may be able to force it into the slicer. It's about 4" across but 2" wide. I didn't measure my bagels before purchasing. I recently bought bagels from the bakery section of the grocery store and I'm not sure they will easily fit. I had another bagel slicer previously and was replacing it. They would fit into the old one. So I would recommend checking the dimensions of the item prior to purchasing if you typically have larger bagels. I will try to write a review and post photos. Otherwise, it works fine and is sturdy with a sharp blade.

Answer:	It fits most bagels, although you really have to shove the thick ones in. I have only had to do this with Finagle a Bagels and bagels from the Bagel Nook in New Jersey, which are huge. Otherwise, I've had no issues. It works really well.
