Question:	can i use the document feeder to scan multiple pages at one time
Answer:	Yes you can. I just scanned a 5 page document using the document feeder. Worked great!
Question:	Does the top lift up so I can scan books/other things that won't fit through the document feeder
Answer:	Yes it hinges up. The rear hinges seem to be able to lift up higher than just a page, like on a book, but it definitely lifts up. I normally lift up the top to scan one or two pages vs. using the document feed.

Answer:	My photo printing was excellent quality. Adjusting the paper feed system is not an easy adjustment, but much easier on the fourth or fifth time you use it. One small thing is there is a 1/16" white strip on top and bottom. Tom

Answer:	The 880 has touch screen fax buttons instead of physical buttons, uses different print cartridge model numbers (newer possibly) and has NFC support for phones that support. I have not used a 870 so I'm not sure if the 880s touchscreen is more responsive but usually they update the processor on refreshes. Answer:	I believe I was told it can but I had no reason to try it

Answer:	I signed up for the insta-ink as I always use the ink that comes with the printer. I don’t use generic ink. It is not mandatory to sign up for ink, though if you do, you may cancel at anytime.

Answer:	No it doesn't. You can manually make it by flipping the page, and replacing it in the feeder tray.
Question:	Can you print on card stock with this printer
Answer:	I was printing on 65 pound card-stock and my printer accidentally sucked two pieces through the printer and printed just fine. So I imagine it would handle 110 pound card stock just fine.
Question:	Does this come with ink
Answer:	The cartridges that come with the printer are standard, full size, cartridges. You can purchase XL cartridges as replacements which will save you about 20 percent per page. There is also the option to subscribe to an Automatic Ink program called instant ink. You pay $3.00 a month and print up to 50 pages. If you print more, HP will charge you an additional $1 for each eset of 15 pages or more that you print. Most importantly, when you run low on ink, HP sends you more ink long before you run out. Best of all, you get fresh ink while only paying your $3 a month. At ~$0.06 a page, it's the lowest cost way to print, as long as you print every month. Answer:	Here’s what it took me an hour on the phone with HP to find out: For initial setup, you need a wifi connection. Fortunately, I was able to use my phone as a wifi hotspot and to print directly from my phone using phone as a wifi hotspot. Why this is advertised as a Bluetooth printer and carries a Bluetooth logo on the box remains a mystery to me.

Answer:	Nope. not a scanner. I take a picture of the document I want printed and then send it to the printer or computer. It's fast and so far has been error free. I love that it is small and doesn't look like a printer. I don't print or scan or copy regularly so this is perfect for me... /set-up on this printer was so easy. It always connects to my computer instantly when I open the lid. I really cant say enough good things about the Tango. They claim it is good for printing photos too. I havn't tried that yet. I have a dedicated canon photo printer. All in all the tango is a great printer. I really like it.

Answer:	Install the color as well and just never use it. Before print it’ll give you an option to choose color or black and you can also just use black.

Question:	If you run out of a color cartridge, will it print in black
Answer:	No! I cannot get mine to print in black and white when any color cartridge is empty. It does NOT automatically print in black only and even when I change the settings, it refuses to print. Once I replaced the color cartridges, it happily printed in black and white again. I've never had a printer do this.

Answer:	I have an iMac desktop and MacBook Pro, both with the Catalina OS. I've had no problems with this printer functioning with either of my computers, as long as the printer is installed on both computers. I can print from both, along with my iPhone, and iPad. I can also have Alexa print my grocery list from this printer. The only thing that really bugs me about this printer is that the "Scan to Computer" function from the printer screen does not work with Catalina. From what I've been told, software and printer drivers have not been developed for the OS yet, which is ridiculous. However, install the SmartApp on your devices and scan from that. I've had no issues working with it this way. I do hope that HP will get the appropriate software and printer drivers available for Catalina very soon. Otherwise, this is a good printer.
