• Applying white emulsion or epoxy resin over top of the drawings can prevent them from getting rubbed off or getting smudged.

How to use

1. Design: Just print / draw/ trace and color on the plastic sheet. If you print it, please print on the frosted-side of sheet.
2. Cut out: Use scissors to cut your designs. Punch a hole on a reserved space or on the pattern for jewelry attachment if desired.
3. Preheat your oven or heat machine to 302-329℉/150-165°C. Put the shrink paper in and then heat it within 1-2 minutes. The frosted-side up when baked is recommended.
4. Watch it shrink. The piece will first curl and finally flatten again. Do not touch the shrink piece right after it’s baked because it’s very hot. Then take it out and use something to press it to be flat. Your wonderful shrink art is done!

Answer:	Its inkjet paper but should work great for writing too. Its a matte paper so crayons and colored pencils should be fine. Its really nice paper.

Answer:	It's compatible as long as the laser printer can handle paper that is 230gsm or 9mil and a slow print speed can be used. Setting should be the same as for all cotton letterhead. The same is true of Premium Matte, and that's what I'd recommend because of cost. It's what the Finestra feedback cards are printed on.

Answer:	Although our paper is reliable and long-lasting, manipulating it and folding it could cause damage to the prints. We always encourage artists to use our paper to help them create, but miles may vary in terms of how the paper will react to alterations. If you intend to fold and then print on them, please check first with your printer manufacturer to ensure you can print with thicker paper.

Answer:	No, it won't work with all in one printers. This product is thick and stiff and only meant for inkjet printers with a straight through paper pass (too stiff to bend around rollers) and compatible with 16mil papers. For your all-in-one printer the best compatible matte paper we offer is B079ZCQDXN. This is a bright white acid-free beautiful paper that is under 12mil and as thick as your printer will do well with.

Answer:	Yes! This is a museum quality product. Please make sure your printer supports 16mil thick paper before purchasing.
Question:	Can this paper be used in a laser printer as well
Answer:	Absolutely not. This is a stiff product that is also 16mil thick and would not be compatible with any laser printer. If using for an inkjet printer, only high end inkjet photo printers with a straight through paper pass that supports thick media.

Answer:	Colors should not be dull or dark. First, make sure your printer is compatible with papers that are 16mil thick and that you have set the platten gap (paper thickness) for thick papers according to your manual. Straight through paper pass highly recommended. Run a nozzle check to make sure you don't have any clogs affecting print quality. Depending on the brand of your printer, choose smooth fine art or cotton fine art matte paper setting. If your printer isn't made to accept 16mil papers, then you will have quality issues as this product is only meant for professional inkjet printers. Answer:	Load paper.(1) Open the paper support, and pull it out.(2) Open the front cover gently. Important If the disc tray guide (A) is open, close it. (3) Pull out the paper output tray. (4) Slide the paper guides (B) to open them, and load the paper in the center of the rear tray WITH THE PRINT SIDE FACING YOU.(5) Slide the paper guides (B) to align them with both sides of the paper stack.Do not slide the paper guides too hard. The paper may not be fed properly. Important Always load paper in the portrait orientation (C). Loading paper in the landscape orientation (D) can cause paper jams.NOTE: This printer is a quality printer for excellent copies. If you are looking for a production type printer where you can do many copies, it would be best that you go to a copy store and have them do it. If you are seeking a few select prints then this would be for you. I believe that about 25 copies is all that can be loaded at a time.

Question:	Does the PIXMA i8720 handle card stock well? I run a very small greetings card business, and my current printer murders card stock
Answer:	The heaviest we've printed is 140 lb paper by Strathmore. We also print greeting and post cards; aside of drymounting photo paper to card stock (whose photo quality absolutely can't be beat), the best paper we've found for iP8720 direct printing is Canson Stamping Cards (beats Strathmore's inket offerings hands-down; we found it on Dick Blick's site). I don't know if Canson publishes this specific product's weight, but it's probably around ~110 lbs.
Question:	does it scan and copy
Answer:	The previous answer ("Copies, but doesn't scan") is WRONG. I've checked the printer and the users manual, and the iP8720 does NOT have scan capability. It is a printer only--not a fax, not a scanner, not a copier. If you need to scan and copy, then you need a different machine. The main value of the iP8720 is for large-format (up to about 13" by 19") printing. If you don't need that capability, then you'd be much better off with a standard-format all-in-one.

Answer:	Yes, you should use an inkjet printer. I use an inexpensive Epson XP-400 and get excellent results for color or black and white photos. This is a cotton rag paper so it's heavier so you should only feed one sheet at a time. I hope this helps.

Answer:	You need to use the metal shields that came with the preamp. Run a simple wire from the base of the leftmost shield to the ground plug on the front of the preamp. This should get rid of the noise.
Question:	Will this printer work on Heavyweight paper 110lb/300gsm cardstock
Answer:	The U ground connector can not be used from the turntable. You have to cut it off, solder the end of the ground wire from the turntable and put it in the push connector. You can rig up something to keep the original ground connector. I soldered a wire to the U connector and put the other end in the push connector on the preamp. No idea why they designed it that way.
