Answer:	It depends the how you use the laser and the quality of the CR2 battery, if you think the attached CR2 can not last as long as you expect, you can buy an better CR2 battery by yourself. By the way, the attached CR2 battery is rechargable.

Answer:	Yes, green lasers are frequently used for astronomy, scope alignment, etc. Beam is usually clear enough to help align your telescope-binoculars-camera. I have an older pencil-style laser, 1/2" diameter, 7 inches long. However, this gadget does not appear to have an appropriate method to mount on any astronomy gear. In a pinch, you might try some sticky-backed velcro, depends on your equipment.

Answer:	Depending on distance and interference, the lag is generally insignificant for regular (at least 5 seconds on each slide) presentations.
Question:	I need to be able to send the 'n' and 'p' keys, and the spacebar. can this unit be set up to do that? sending cursor arrow keys would be a bonus
Answer:	On this one, I would say no for 'n' and 'p' but only with certitude of 75%. However it can definitely do next and previous in your presentation. I would have to investigate further to identify exactly how the unit communicates.

Question:	This remote is supposed to be good up to 150ft, but I can't get it to work from anything farther than 10ft away, anyone have this problem/suggestions
Answer:	You must have a defective unit as mine works well at any distance across the stage, at least up to 50ft with no problems. I assume you've changed batteries and made sure that the receiver is not obstructed by shielding materials?
Question:	Is this compatible with ProPresenter
Answer:	Yes this is. If you use the software to program the 4 buttons to short-keys in Propresenter you have expanded your abilities.
Question:	Is this compatible with Click Tricks
Answer:	Yes it is. I've been using Click Tricks software with the SMK-Link Jade remote for several years with Click Tricks and it works well. The only issue I've ever had is the promised 150 foot range is not true for Click Tricks functions. My experience is more like 40 - 50 feet. The other thing to note is it takes some time to get used to the size of the remote as it is quite a bit bigger than most models. Not a big deal, but it does take some getting used to. I'd definitely buy it again.
Question:	Any suggestion for which SMK remote to get?; need to advance slides, open links for videos/sites. Too many options, I can't decide
Answer:	Hi Klee81, I'm am a worship leader at my church and I was searching for a good remote to operate powerpoint. I tried 3 other top rated brands only to return them to Amazon. They were cheaply made, at times in-operatble, and un-reliable! The SMK Jade was by far the best remote! It was also the most expensive, ($100 compared to others as high as $65) but in electronics I've found you only get what you pay for. After almost 1 year the remote works great and actually has more funtions than we need and more than most of the less expensive models. I hope that this is helpful as you make your decision.
