Answer:	No. These sheets are designed for heat to bond them together. Without the heat, bonding will not take place.

Answer:	Yeah! I do it all the time. I'm a teacher, I put a million little things in and cut when I'm done! I was just doing it last night with like 10/12 little pieces of paper per sleeve.The more border the better obviously, but I trim mine pretty close sometimes. If you cut too close they'll wear or peel with repeated use or handling of the item. Good luck!

Question:	does this come with a carrier
Answer:	The unit does not include a carrier, but none is needed. There are guide tabs in the rear of the unit to help place the lamination pouch properly.
Question:	Can you place a lot of smaller tags in the sheet and cut around each one
Answer:	Yes, that would work fine. Just make sure there's enough space between the tags for the laminating film to seal properly. I used the scotch laminating film pouches and they are good quality.
Question:	do I have to use the whole sheet? like can I do a 4x6 and still have the rest left or is it to be wasted
Answer:	If u send a 4 x 6 thru in a larger pouch like an 8.5 x 11 then yes the rest of it is wasted as it laminates the entire sheet. Best is to purchase the size sheets you think you will use. I have a couple sizes and try to waste as little as possible. It does work well though.

Answer:	I haven't tried them outside but they seem to be very sturdy, almost like a 10 mil. I think they might hold up to the weather, but I imagine the outside would scuff eventually.

Answer:	I would call them more glossy than matte. But really they are just clear after they are laminated.

Answer:	I have doubled the laminate...meaning laminate once then put it in another laminate sheet & run it through the laminator. It helps that everything stays together

Answer:	The 5ml is thicker. I use both for 8 1/2x11. Both are flat but 5 won't bend unless you really want it to. 3ml lays flat for sheets but you can bend it. I hope that helps. I use mine in a classroom and they hold up well but use 5ml if I'm concerned about kids bending them.

Answer:	If you want to laminate 1 side the best way to do that is put 2 pages back to back, laminate them then cut them apart to laminate a single side. There is a video on youtube I saw by Erica Arndt called Laminating tips & tricks that shows this "technique".

Answer:	Yes, you can. I’m not sure about the cloudy residue being left behind by the markers. As with any whiteboard I’d suggest doing a proper clean up every so often with a white board cleaner spray.

Answer:	Depends on exactly what you are trying to laminate. The "pouches" are sturdy but flexible plastic. One side has adhesive and the other does not. The adhesive sticks to one side of the material being laminated and seals to the plastic side where it extends beyond material being laminated. The resulting unit can be trimmed as desired as long as a reasonable margin, say 1/8" or more is left beyond the edge of the material laminated. The material to be laminated should be reasonably thin, perhaps not thicker than good construction paper. The resulting laminated unit is quite sturdy. If your letters and projects meet these conditions and are within the specified size limits, the product should work satisfactorily.
Question:	Can I cut out after self laminate
Answer:	Yes, just make sure to leave a 1/4 inch border around the laminated item so the pouch does not come apart. Thanks for asking!
