Answer:	Not well. Des Moines is on the Iowa Statewide Interoperable Communications System (ISICS) which uses many simulcast sites. If you’re in range of two towers broadcasting the same frequency you will have issues. The SDS100 and 200 are the only current Uniden scanners to handle simulcast well.

Answer:	The GPS receiver is installed but you need the plugin GPS antenna that must be purchased separate. (about $100.00)Any antenna can be used with the proper adapter. If you are using a outside antenna you just need to know what type of connector is on the end of the cable coming from the antenna and purchase the proper adapter. Answer:	A part from the nooelec txco being 0.5PPM TCXO can't find much difference. Only thing to remember they get hot. So the NooElec NESDR Mini+ 0.5PPM TCXO-based RTL-SDR USB being in a sealed Aluminum Enclosure might be a problem. I like the RTL-SDR Blog R820T2 RTL2832U 1PPM TCXO and at the price you can't beat it. Just get a better a better antenna.
