Answer:	Beware of junk mail containing metal coins or tokens. Sometimes a donation-seeking organization will put a nickel in there to coerce you into opening it saying something along the lines of, "Just this nickel a day will help save the world of every problem ever!", and another example is the March of Dimes, who often puts a dime in there. Still others have non-money tokens that are metal, especially ads for kid's stuff. Car dealerships often toss a key in too. I would open just in case. A magnet doesn't help because usually the coin or token isn't iron-based.
Question:	Is this shredder suitable for shredding large amounts of newspaper
Answer:	A few things you can do to prevent jams. First, don't put too many papers either in the hand feeder slot or the drawer mode. Shut it off between stacking and feeding. Let it cool. Also make sure the catcher bin is not full - that will also jam. So I let it go about 50 sheets if using the drawer or less with the hand feeder, shut off, clean bin out of shredded papers & then proceed. Usually will not jam although it does slow down the process.

Answer:	If the envelope has a plastic window, no....otherwise, no problem..don't try to shred adhesive labels either. It will shred credit cards and CD/DVD's.

Answer:	It is larger than a typical home shredder, but I love it. If you are shredding several times a week, this is a good model. Only, don't shred junk mail envelopes with the cellophane windows. They melt as the shredder gets warm during use, and it can clog the shredder. I found that out the hard way. Otherwise, really terrific machine!

Answer:	The ideal 2465 does come with a small sample size bottle of shredder oil (50 ml) and a couple of sample shredder bags. It's always good to oil your shredder after every bag change and after a day of heavier than normal shredding. You can just zig zag some oil across a sheet of paper and shred it (less mess). The 2465 has a heavy duty plastic pull out bin inside the wooden cabinet. You can choose to use the bin bag-less if you desire.
