Question: | Does this calculator come with an owners manual |
Answer: | There is also an app manual:https://www.amazon.com/Graphing-Calculator-Manual-TI-84-Plus/dp/B01MYF33Q4Maybe this is also interesting for you. Also available on Google Play and iOS. |
Question: | What is the battery life before needing recharged? How long to recharge |
Answer: | I conducted a test where I left the calculator running on max brightness non-stop until it died. It took over 30 hours before the battery was completely drained. Since no one runs their calculator non stop for 30 hours straight, this equates to a month of normal use at max brightness. If you want to extend it to two months or more, be sure to keep the brightness turned down. It takes 1-2 hours to charge from a dead battery. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it display the table for the function that has been graphed |
Answer: | Not sure what you mean, since you are citing the same model of calculator (HP-35s) three times. This model has an LCD type of display. The ORIGINAL HP-35 from 1973 or so had an LED type of display with red numbers against the black background, and was MUCH easier to read, in my opinion. Any LCD becomes invisible in bright light. |
Question: | Can I use this calculator to see graphics for compound interest |
Answer: | The HP-35s uses two CR2032 Lithium Batteries. |
Question: | Es equivalente a la casio fx9750gii |
Answer: | It is actually quite easy! Just remember in RPN, if you can do something with the number you just entered and the previous number in the display, do it. If not, press “ENTER”. Because of the Reverse Polish Notation input logic of the calculator, it all works out. Simple example: 32(6+5)/(17x9) =? With an RPN CALCULATOR, your entries would be: 32 [can’t do anything with it so] “ENTER” 6 [can’t do anything with it and 32, so] “ENTER” 5 [you can do the addition with the 6, so] “+” [now you can multiply the result with the 32, so] “x” >>The result of 32(6+5) appears in the display [352]<< 17 [can’t do anything with it so] “ENTER” 9 [you can do the multiplication with the 17, so] “x” >>The result of (17x9) appears in the display [153]<< [now you can do the division, so] “/” >>The result of 32(6+5)/(17x9) = is displayed [2.30]<< You simply enter the numbers in the natural order that you read them. The RPN logic takes care of the rest. With a STANDARD ALGEBRAIC CALCULATOR, you will have to do the 17x9 first and store the result. Then do the 6+5 and then multiply it by 32. Then you have to recall the number previously stored in memory and do the division. While you are doing all that, you hope that you remembered to press the / key before you recalled the memory. If you mess up, you get to start all over! |
Question: | Worth buying |
Answer: | The calculator does not have polar to rectangular functions, but ...You can set the display to display complex numbers as either polar or rectangularThen just enter the number in the other modeExample: Set display to Rectangular then enter 5angle60 and it will display 2.5000i4.3301Or set the display to Polar then enter 3i4 and it will display 5.000angle53.1301In some ways this is even easier to use than polar to rectangular conversions and in some ways it is less convenient. In rectangular mode, normal numbers are displayed normally. Pi is displayed as 3.1416, not 3.1416i0.0000I hope this helps.Mark |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this work easily for algebra polynomials |
Answer: | or polynomials with multiple variable instances, the Poly Root Finder and Simultaneous Equation Solver must be used instead. Access this tool by pressing the APPS button and scrolling down through the menu to find the entry labeled ":PolySmlt" in the menu. As there are only hotkeys for the first 10 entries (numbered "1" through "0"), you'll have to navigate the menu manually; it takes 30 presses of the DOWN ARROW to reach the correct entry. Press the ENTER key to launch the app, pressing a key when prompted and selecting the first entry labeled "1:Poly Root Finder." Enter the highest numbered exponent when prompted for the degree of the poly, press ENTER and enter the values of the coefficients for each term in the polynomial. Press the GRAPH key (located under "SOLVE" on the screen) to begin processing the polynomial; after a moment, the calculator will display every value of x that it calculated and will display "NONREAL" for other options that did not return valid solutions. |
Question: | There is no light indicator on the calculator |
Answer: | No |
Question: | Does it do fractions |
Answer: | yes. Press the green alpha button, then the y= button and select the type of fraction you want. Use the arrows to get to the boxes and type :) |
Question: | Has anyone bought the Standard Packaging version recently? If so, was it the same black calculator displayed in the pictures |
Answer: | What I am selling is a used calculator so therefore it does not come with the original/standard packaging. It looks and is exactly the same calculator as the one in the picture. I place it in a protective bubble envelope for safe shipment. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Did it come with computer software |
Answer: | I agree with the Al's comment. HP 10BII+ is really tailored for finance use only while the TI BAII+ has similar functions of a scientific calculator. |
Question: | Does it solve indefinite integrals |
Answer: | I think the main difference is one is meant exclusively for a finance class. It should have the software or programming to calculate finance problems. |
Question: | Would be possible to solve simultaneous equations with complex numbers? Would be possible to calculate the square root of a complex number |
Answer: | yes it does have commas in between themThanks |
Question: | Is it good for geometry exam |
Answer: | A much more extensive, 187-page manual is available for download on the HP website. It offers a lot more information on how to solve for various equations than the user guide that comes with the calculator:http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.BINARYPORTLET/public/kb/docDisplay/resource.process/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay_ws_BI&spf_p.rid_kbDocDisplay=docDisplayResURL&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&spf_p.rst_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-resourceState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c02989763-1%257CdocLocale%253Den_US&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetokenI also recommend buying the Kaplan Schweser book "Understanding Your Financial Calculator," which contains step-by-step instructions for 10bII+ users to solve various financial equations. |

User questions & answers
Question: | will this calculator fit the needs for all math? (calc, algebra, geometry, etc |
Answer: | is this good for high school geometry |
Question: | Is this allowed for sat/act tests |
Answer: | This is allowed on both the SAT and ACT tests as well as AP exams. |
Question: | Can this be used for Algebra through Calculus in high school |
Answer: | Yes it can. Many of my customers are high school / college students. They mainly use it for calculus and statistics all throughout their school career. |
Question: | COMPARE WITH I |
Answer: | It's a lot easier to use. The TI-83 requires the user to remember a lot more. It uses parentheticals to enter data, so the user must enter the required data in the required order, but there is no prompt. The TI-84 gives prompts for required data points such as mean, median, z-scores, critical values, etc. It also has more data packages than the 83, so less work has to be done manually. I'm kind of glad my 83 crapped out so I had to replace it! :-P Hope that helps. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can i transfer spreadsheets etc to my computer with qt codes like with the ex991? (i like the ability to save spreadsheets for work |
Answer: | According to the user manual, the max size of matrix you input is 999 (rows) X 999 (columns). |
Question: | Does this calculator have the trig functions - sin, cos, tan |
Answer: | Here is the answer from Casio:There are two features on the fx-9750GII that you might find useful:(1) in Graph mode (Option 3 from the Main Menu), you can use GMEM to store and recall functions that you wish to graph repeatedly.(2) Program mode (Option 9 from the Main Menu) allows you to enter programs, which is very flexible and might allow you to store the notes and formulas you need. However, its primary purpose is to execute programs, so I don't know how useful that option would be for you. It depends on how much information you are planning on storing. There is no specific note-taking mode on the fx-9750GII. |
Question: | Does this calculator keep history after shut down |
Answer: | For my money, NO. Their are many different models of the TI-84. Currently, for example, it is available with a back-lit screen and high definition graphing, and it comes in a variety of attractive colors. Also, it can display mathematical expressions as they appear on paper. For example, the square root of 8 places the '8' directly UNDER the square root radical rather than placing '8' in parentheses directly AFTER the radical. For me, that, and similar expressions, is not worth paying double money! Another consideration, the CASIO, for example, can perform the four calculator operations defined by the Test Development Committee for the AP Calculus examination: produce a graph, find the zeros, calculate the derivative, calculate the integral. I find the CASIO both faster and more user friendly for these and other operations. (Some other reviewers disagree.) The Casio, when each pixel on the screen is set to 0.1, graphs from -6.3 to 6.3; the TI only graphs from -4.7 to 4.7. This means that the CASIO can graph two full cycles of the trigonometric functions such as the sine and cosine. There is more that could be said. But I have known several people who were glad they bought the CASIO. I would be pleased to hear about your opinion at the end of the coming school year if you decide to buy the CASIO. |
Question: | Where is the EE button |
Answer: | This is a very good calculator. I used it in pre-calculus and calculus. It has all the functions that you need and others you don't. Its super simple to operate and the manual is not complicated at all if you need it. |
