Answer:	The short answer is No. This is not a chromatic harmonica with a lever on th side to play sharps/flats. this is why it is described as "C Key". An advanced technique called "bending" will let you change the note by how you breathe and you can do sharps/flats that way

Answer:	Yes. Screws hold the assembly together. Under cover plate are reeds then the comb. So in short, everything can be rinsed and reassembled if needed. YouTube has videos of how to do this.

Answer:	Two Timer has thinner stainless steel covers held on with screws and nuts. Humming has thicker, heavier covers made of chrome plated brass and held on with barrel screws. A magnet will stick to the 2 Timer but not to the brass Humming. Humming covers also have a more ornate design where the sound comes out. The combs and reed plates appear to be the same. I have both and both are nice harmonicas. I think the chrome plating on the Humming is smoother and slides on the lips easier, but not by much. Both used to be made in Japan but recently Suzuki has announced that the cheaper model will be made in China using reed plates that are made in Japan. A lot of the current stock is probably all Japanese. The reed plates are the most important part so even the new Chinese ones should be good.

Answer:	I've been playing harmonica for more than 50 years and have never had occasion to want to wash one in warm or any other water. If it needs cleaning, take it apart and wipe it down with alcohol wipes and let it air dry. If you do wash it, I'd take the covers off and let it dry thoroughly before playing it again.

Answer:	First things first, specs say a lot by themselves about what they might offer. If you have a particular key that you prefer-one that works for people you sing with or if you sing yourself one that you sing in often etc-start there. There are really, though, two differences to consider. The original is the Marine Band 1896. If natural materials appeal to you, it is a great bet. If you live somewhere quite humid, especially hot and humid, eh, I might not suggest it if you will have it outside/in non-climate controlled places a long time (though camping occasionally it is well suited for-I mean, it has gone to war plenty of times so the differences are going to mostly be about sound and feel-it will take a lot of abuse to wear down the Marine one-none are cheap $10 ones that will never sound or feel good). Wood naturally, whether a clarinet or harmonica, swells a bit when it gets hot and humid; the amount from your mouth is one factor-two layers of lacquer there to cover that much and a good chunk of weather variation for the vast majority playing-but as sad as this is to acknowledge as someone who adores wood&quality metals, plastic DOES have an advantage that makes smart marching band performers&other outdoor musicians have their "400-700 dollar" flute/piccolo/clarinet/even trumpets etc though brass isn't as impacted as quickly if it gets cleaned reliably) and keep their concert instruments safe. If you are going to play for extremely long periods of time, the tuning can be impacted a bit...and if you are playing with a precision-demanding ensemble or doing solo work, plastic does have precision onoy a machine can mold-natural materials=some natural variation. I LOVE the natural variation and warm rich bluesy sound of the marine band one (but being Hoehner sound won't suffer with any). The 1896 is not much different now from a 100 years ago apart from probably using a different substance for the lacquer on the wooden comb(to reduces swelling of the wood,mold too)-changed to last longer, sound better, be safer, or a combination of them. The difference between the special 20 and the golden melody is predominantly the mouthpiece, simple enough. Answer:	I wondered the same thing. However, there is an alternative for a C harp. I, personally, opted for other free lessons on you tube and have never signed up for my free month. One reason could be that the A harp is significantly lower than the C harp and the lower notes are easier to play than the higher ones. For this reason, it could be considered more desirable for a beginner.
