Answer:	I think it is chrome (alloy) plated because it is shiny and resist tarnishing. I have several Hohner harmonicas that have tarnished, thus I tried Suzuki and have been very satisfied. I find the Hohners clog more often too.

Answer:	Sorry, this is Suzuki's cheapest chromatic. However, the Swan 1040 is only $30 and it is a decent beginner's chromatic.
Question:	Does the last 2 holes (high note) hard to play? I mean you have to blow harder to produce a note
Answer:	By nature, harmonicas require a bit more effort as the notes get higher. It's because each reed gets shorter as the pitch goes up. I think my Suzuki SCX-48 is fine on the top 2 notes.

When you push the slider , it blocks all notes ( C-scale ) on the upper row and exposes all notes ( C#-scale ) on the lower row (so every corresponding note is raised a half-step) . When playing songs in major key , you don't need to push the slider . When playing songs in minor key , you'll have to push the slider now and then to catch a "minor" note on the lower row . The size is 7.5" long , 1.75" high and 1.25" thick .

Answer:	I am interpreting this question to be asking whether the highest note on the instrument is a C-sharp or a D-natural. Well, it's a C-sharp. That is to say, if you are blowing on the very last hole to the right and you have the slide pushed in, it produces a C-sharp (enharmonic to D-flat). Excuse me for not getting excited about fastidious octave designations. Just hold the instrument with low notes to the left and high notes to the right. The farthest right hole is the topic of interest. With reference to piano octaves, for anyone who cares, it is c7 without the slide and c#7 with it (blowing).

Answer:	The much cheaper price you saw is the price in Japan. Search amazon.co.jp , you will see the price in Japan is around $300. I found it is very hard for me to believe what amazon Japan has are counterfeits. Answer:	I have played harmonicas, including Hohners, on and off for many years. I only own the sirius s64c as new only for several weeks, playing on it gently at first to run it in. The sound and articulation were not fully regular at first, especially on the low and very high notes. But it is much smoother and consistent in articulation now after several weeks of use, and it is still improving. I have not had a specific issue with key no. 2. I also had a new Seydel Saxony Orchestra recently. It was lighter on the breadth than s64c, but the sound also becomes better after a period of use. Try blowing and drawing long extended notes on the key gently and see if it improves after several days. You can blow and draw more strongly as it improves. If not, l suppose you may have gotten a faulty instrument, and may request for a replacement.

Answer:	The short answer is No. This is not a chromatic harmonica with a lever on th side to play sharps/flats. this is why it is described as "C Key". An advanced technique called "bending" will let you change the note by how you breathe and you can do sharps/flats that way

Answer:	For modern country music, you're probably going to want a Blues Harmonica; or even a set of them in different Keys. While it is possible to play just about any music style on this Tremolo Harmonica because of the 24 note range - it will not carry the same tone as a Blues Harmonica. The Tremolo sound is more akin to an Accordion in tune, better suited for song styles such as Sea Shanties and Irish Folk Music. Answer:	Yes it is. Sometimes, I tune my guitar down 1/2 step, and with the F#, you can still play in G. The harmonica is not a Low F# if that is what you meant, but standard, 1/2 step lower than G.

Answer:	The key of A is the most common key for blues harmonica if that's what you are most interested in it sounds great the music you play on a C you can play on an A
Question:	Should I get this harmonica, the marine band harmonica, or the special 20? Which one is better
Answer:	There is no easy answer to that question. The Marine Band is the classic blues harmonica. The Crossover is a wonderful harmonica with a great sound. Personally, I think that it is a better built harmonica. However, it is a tad small in size for my taste. It isn't as comfortable as other harmonicas, at least until you get used to it. The Special 20 is also a very nice harmonica - a lot more comfortable on the lips than the Marine Band. It also sounds great. So, it is a matter of personal taste. These are all great harps. That said, my favorite C harmonica is a Seidel 1847 Noble. Unfortunately, those are kind of pricey. The best C harp in the bang for the buck category is, in my humble opinion, a Seidel Blues Session - great sound, perfect feel in the hand, well made. As I said, it is strictly a matter of personal preference. The 3 Hohners you mentioned are all great.
