The MEINL Didgeridoo Mouthpiece is made from 100% antiseptic beeswax that can be formed to fit our DDG1 and SDDG1 model didgeridoos. When fitted, the all natural, hygienic beeswax mouthpiece makes it easy to hold tones and is comfortable to play, especially for extended use. To put in place, gently heat the whole mouthpiece for 2-3 minutes until it begins to soften. Simply press the flat side of the beeswax on the rim of the didgeridoo to achieve a proper fit. Pull the mouthpiece down around the didgeridoo to make sure the playing surface is completely covered. After it is in place, create a firm seal by forming the beeswax to the edge of the rim, then let it sit for a moment and play.

If we could see you play we could give you feedback, but since we cannot... Don't give up! Playing a didge box is a bit different from playing a full size didge, but very similar. You'll get it! Just hang in there :-) |

| Answer: | Height of our dowel is 11.25" but the diameter is slightly un-uniform. At bottom of dowel the diameter is slightly over 1", and at top of the dowel, the diameter is slightly under 1". So with our particular didgeridoo, it glides on to the dowel easily at the beginning but is slightly more snug at the bottom, which has worked out just fine. |
