Answer:	Yes i would say that the finish is high gloss. Also, at least for the one we received, the finish is much darker than the pictures shows. Still attractive and very nice, but a much darker color.

It keeps in tune very well , I do play everyday and have found this ukulele to be a Great instrument. Besides it is cute with the tattoo decorations on the body. Answer:	No it doesn't. But you can have them installed at a music store. About $10-15 for two strap buttons. Or you can shop Amazon for strapping your uke button-free. One end hooks up to the sound hole, other end around you. Btw, OS OU28T is sooo cool for strumming. Best buy for the buck! Good luck!

Answer:	Prior answers didn't answer this. The width of the neck (fingerboard) at the nut is about 1 3/4", which is 1/4" wider than most tenor ukuleles measured at the same place. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have not measured it to exact length, but it is tenor size and fits nicely in a tenor case. Compared to other Oscar Schmidt tenors, there is no difference except string number.

Answer:	I just looked and I would say semi-gloss. It has a shine to it, but I have to admit I do polish all my guitars. Hope that helps. Oh, btw, it plays and sounds wonderful, so for me, the finish isn't really an issue. The sound is.

Question:	How well does this ukuele stay in tune
Answer:	We were prepared to tune this new ukulele for at least a week or so until the strings settled. Most of strings stayed in tune almost perfectly after a few tunings. The E string is the only one that resisted for several days, and now the strings only need slight fine tuning!
Question:	Does the tenor have a low g by default? i thought all tenors had low g, but in mine, the c string is thickest not the g
Answer:	I believe the higher G is default but it can be restrung with the lower G string.

Answer:	when I read the Oscar Schmidt site, it looks like 5 years is what they give. http://www.oscarschmidt.com/warranty/ the warranty covers craftsmanship, but not damage caused by the owner. its a Great Uke, good luck. I have had my ou5 for nearly 10 years with no issues at all!

Answer:	My friend has a Cordoba - it's a nice instrument, sure, but we both like my Oscar OU5 better. I own a Kala KA-T tenor, and would take my Oscar over that one. The tone is nice, and I'm forever commenting that 'Oscar just rings like a bell' - meaning, the sound is pure and clean and the sustain goes on. I have 8 ukuleles and Oscar holds its own against the Martin Tenor I have. Those two are my faves for sound and ease-of-play (the action is nice and low on both) I got my OU5 here on Amazon, and it came with a tuner, cloth, CD, etc...and a lovely hard-foam case that's really protective. I think I paid abou $180 for everything. I'd buy another Oscar in a heartbeat.
