Answer: I have the concert size and it fits perfectly. If you google ukulele sizes, they go soprano, concert, tenor and baritone. There are other sizes but those seem to be the most common. I tried to attach a picture but it seems only a video can be attached.

Answer: The KA-15C and KA-C are two quality level models of the same uke. The KA-C has binding that binds the top/back and sides together. You can see it as the cream strip around the edge of the top and back. The KA-15C does not have binding. The top and back are attached directly to the sides and there is no color accent strip. All other features are the same. It cost more to use the binding. Unless you are a concert professional, you will not notice any difference in the sound.

Question: How can I lessen the chemical-like smell? It even made my new uke smell for a few minutes, after a few hours inside. I'm afraid to put it back in now
Answer: I have two cases. One I've had for two months. The other two days. Both still have a strong chemical smell. But the older case is much less strong than the new one. Really noticable after it's been closed for a week or so. Smell is much like that from memory foam pillows. Formaldehyde, glue and other chemical smells. All you can do is keep the case open and let it out-gas until the smell is gone.

Answer: It's made by Uke Crazy. I don't know if it is owned by Kala or not. Mine arrived with Uke Crazy in white on the closure flap. Same case.

Answer: This is an ukulele instrument , The Baritone size is the largest in the Ukulele "world". It is only to be tuned like the first 4 string of the standard guitar. E-B-G-D. I play the classical (nylon strings( guitar and it has also 18 frets. There be no difference or shorter of notes. The only difference is the scale length the distance from the Nut to the top of the saddle- being a shorter size instrument the frets are just closer together, Much easier to play for people with shorter fingers. The over all length of any Baritone Ukulele is just under 30 inches long. Enjoy.
Question: What is the difference between this and the MK-B? Several people complained of the stings on the MK-B. Does this have the same stings as the MK-B
Answer: The MK-B is from Kala's entry level line of instruments. I've played both baritones (the MK-B and the KA-B) The strings are MUCH better on the KA-B. But for an entry level instrument, the MK-B is a pretty good sounding instrument. I'd recommend paying a little more if you can and getting the KA-B. It sounds fantastic!!!!

Answer: Yes, our ukes are all in standard tuning, but could easily changed to an alternate tuning if someone wished to. The nylon strings are fairly flexible and a fair amount more malleable than the average set of guitar strings.
