This is really common, particularly with new strings. Nylon strings take a certain amount of stretching before they settle down and hold their tune.

How to solve:Tune it to the desired note, then pull up on the string over the sound hole to give it a bit of a stretch. That'll take it down about 2 whole notes, tune it back up and repeat until it stays in tune. A lot of folks who maybe aren't used to stringed instruments, especially nylon strings, get frustrated, but don't worry, these are decent strings, they just need a good stretch!

Answer:	Yes, they are queit the same. As with any string instrument, with our attached Tuner, you'll easily tune the ukulele to the correct pitches: G, C, E, A.

Answer:	Metal strings will likely break the bridge (which is soft and made for nylon knots anyways) and if not, will over time bend the neck. This is also why electric ukes (with electromagnetic pickups) are so rare. You would be much better served by a mini 4-string guitar; tuned GCEA to play ukulele songs.

Answer:	Concert Ukulele The concert ukulele is the very similarly constructed big sister of the soprano ukulele. The concert uke therefore maintains many of the same stylistic features as the soprano ukulele, and sounds much more similar to the soprano than to the tenor ukulele. The concert ukulele is usually around 23 inches long; with a slightly bigger body than the soprano, which produces a somewhat richer, warmer tone. Ranch concert ukele has 18 frets, This gives the concert ukulele an extended playing range over the soprano ukulele, making it a preferable choice for ukulele soloists. The longer body of the concert means that the frets, are spaced further apart - and so the concert ukulele is considered to be easier to navigate for people with slightly larger hands. The extra room on the concert ukulele, along with its extended range, allows players to perform more technical skills on the uke while still maintaining the classic 'soprano-like' sound of the original Hawaiian ukulele. Tenor Ukulele The tenor ukulele is like the big brother of the soprano, being slightly deeper in tone and bigger than both the soprano and the concert ukulele. While the playing range of the tenor is very similar as that of a concert ukulele, the tone that the larger body of the tenor ukelele makes it very different in sound quality to the concert and the soprano. Before nylon, people used "catgut strings" that were made from the intestines of animals (usually not cats, though). The name Nylgut is "Nyl" plus "gut".

Answer:	A number of answers claim this bag will fit a 27 inch tenor uke. NOT TRUE. My Cordoba 20TM tenor uke (26 inches carefully measured) isn't even close to fitting into this case. I liked the bag otherwise but had to return it as it simply is not the size advertised.

Answer:	I think it will fit. the measurements inside are as follows: the headstock is 4" wide; then it increases to about 7 1/2"; then increases to 9 1/2"; and total length is 27"; it is just under 2 1/2" deep. I hope that this helps :)

Answer:	It was too short for my Lanikai tenor. I put a concert size in this one and got a bari size case for my tenor. Although I do love this case, really nicely padded.

Answer:	No, these will only hold the 2 smaller instruments. They make 2 other models that will display your guitar, 1 is for the standard size guitar, and another that will need to be used for the classical guitar, because it has a wider neck. They are amazing hangers, and I love how they articulate with the instrument, if accidentally bumped helping to reduce damage to the instrument. Hope this helps!

Question:	Is the Spruce top use available without a strap button
Answer:	No. This hangar is intended to be screwed directly into drywall or a wall stud. The base of this hangar is concave too, meaning there’s a space and you won’t get full contact with the command strip against the wall and hangar. You could possibly screw this to another board and then stick that against the wall with command strips, but then again the strongest strips hold 8 lbs max (the average acoustic guitar weight) and might not be up to the job unless you use several. I personally wouldn’t trust a musical instrument to them but that’s me. I hope this helps.

Hand Feeling Process

Well hand feeling is the key to a good musical instrument, which is reflected in smooth feeling and suitable thickness handle, ultra comfortable chord distance, gliding fret and comfortable strings. The distance of fingerboard to string is perfect. The handle and the body must be in a horizontal plane strictly when fitting the fingerboard. Use the fret is silk smooth and gliding.

Answer:	There is a thumb clip on the preamp. Squeeze it and pull the battery tray. There are two flat batteries in the tray. Swap them and slide the tray back in.

Answer:	Don't think so. Even though in all other respects, the instrument is symmetrical, the bridge is asymmetric, and is angled for thuning with the G on top (for right handed strumming). If you can change that, however, I imagine it is feasible.

Answer:	Hi there! If your giftee has ever played a bowed instrument, they'll immediately know what to do. The protruding plastic bit on the "hand-end" is actually a screw handle; it will adjust tension on the bow. Twisting clockwise should tighten the hairs, and counter-clockwise should loosen them. You can expect to see a few loose hairs (even on the highest quality bows - nothing to worry about), and expect a few to be shed in the first couple play sessions. Have a swell Christmas, Stranger!

Answer:	Aloha Jonathan!Thanks for your question. Yes the pick holder can be removed. It is not attached on the ukulele in the first place. And you can put it on if you want to, but you don't have to. It's just a sticker on the back, so it is easily removable and doesn't leave any mark on the ukulele. Once you attach and detach the pick holder, the sticker loses its effect. But there are times when the color is a bit different, sometimes a bit lighter or sometimes a bit darker. Question:	This is a two part question, First what kind of wood is the instrument made out of and two can a low g string be installed instead of a high g string
Answer:	Aloha Clyde!Thanks for your question. The ukulele is made of Sapele, which is an identical type of wood as mahogany. Our ukuleles all come pre-installed with a high G string. If you want a low G string, you need to purchase a low G string separately and replace that yourself. It's not hard to do, pretty simple. There's youtube videos on how to change strings.
