Answer:	To be honest, it isn't. This foam is really only good at dampening high frequency information.. I would try and add either fiberglass or cotton batting into a layer of your box.. Cotton is going to be the cleanest option. The question is how is your generator going to perform in an enclosed space without ventilation? Add ventilation and sound will leak. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hope you find a solution!
Question:	If I paste it on the wall of my bedroom, can it reduce the noise from the other side of wall? Because my neighbor is kind of noisy. Thank you
Answer:	If you want to actually block sound like that, you would need a complete barrier (floor, walls, ceiling) made of something heavy like lead, concrete, or mass loaded vinyl (I suggest mass loaded vinyl if it's a rental). This foam does decrease noise pollution, but it's mostly for controlling sound reflections and altering the acoustics of a room (and will hardly have any effect on bass).
Question:	I am reading ther reviews and people are saying this product is actually only .75 inches thick. Is this correct
Answer:	That wouldn't be the most effective way to hang these.. You should test the room for echo's and place them in area's that sound is bouncing from. In my home studio/living room (lol) I find that the furniture actually helps stop echo, so I place mine in corners and walls starting where they met the ceiling and down... hope this helps.
Question:	does this damage the wall when removing
Answer:	i'm not sure. I think the best thing to do is to measure the door and then figure out how many squares you need. I would be surprised if you needed 24 squares..

--clean the surface to remove dust

--gently peel the paper off the back for about one foot wide on one end of the sheet

--align the foam with the wall/ceiling and attach the back with adhesive to the target area

--gently peel off a little more as you proceed and adjust the alignment whenever necessary

Answer:	It will help you for sure, but not as much as it helps your neighbor. So the best case scenario is, if possible, to get your neighbor to agree to apply it on their side of the wall, but I know it may be hard to do. Again it helps and you should be able to tell the difference.
Question:	what microphone stand would go well with this? Any recommendations help
Answer:	The height is 1.5 inches. Period. It is compressed prior to shipping so it takes a few days to expand. It may take a bit longer in winter, but you can always use a household steamer to help with the expansion and all - I mean ALL - foam will eventually expand fully. A few buyers are not patient enough and do not even bother to read the descriptions or the sticker on the package.

Answer:	I just bought 2 orders of it and the glue is very strong to seal it permanently. If you don’t want to glue it directly on the wall , you can Tape cardboard on the wall first , then .place it over that for easy removing. I have mine over some foamie light long panels that I taped on the wall first, then placed the foam panels over it and it not only shields the noise but keeps the room nice and warm. Answer:	These foams generally do not need to be cleaned. If you want to clean it, you can blow away the dust directly with a hair dryer.

Question:	Will these help reduce washer and dryer noise in a closet off of kitchen with bi-fold doors
Answer:	Hello Patricia, Yes these acoustic foam tiles will help absorb noise from your washer and dryer in the closet. Mount the foam inside of the closet on the walls around the machines and on the inside of the doors if possible. This will not stop the noise completely but will reduce it some. Doors can be kind of tricky, especially bi-fold doors. Even the slightest crack will let the noise through. The foam will be absorbing some sound waves, but other sound will be coming through cracks. Weatherstrips work well for sealing gaps if you do have them. Duck brand makes a good weatherstripping product, and is available on Amazon. They could help reduce noise coming from a neighbor, but will not block the noise completely. If you place the foam on your side of the wall the foam will absorb some of the noise and vibrations, but not everything. It might muffle the noise a bit... Question:	Will this foam cancel the noise of a person chewing ice in an adjacent cubicle
Answer:	Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. These acoustic panels will not work to solve your problem. Unless you build a box around your co-worker and line the inside with acoustic foam :) ... The problem you have is that sound needs isolated in order to be blocked. The nature of cubicles allows noise to flow freely even if you did have sound absorption panels. Anywhere that air will flow through the sound will flow through as well... Answer:	I would get a larger sound panel, like ATS, that has more sound insulation inside. Or a sound moving blanket. They will make it more quiet than these. I have these and they do work, but not as well as the two previously mentioned. A hung, old thick queen comforter does wonders too

I would recommend the 5 panel for greater flexibility options in home recording, blog &/or studio environment...with the 5 panel you can almost completely form the panel around the mic, creating better isolation, or open all the way, if needed and anywhere between. 3 panel gives less options...cool gadget though! Guys in the band were impressed 🎸
