Question:	Does this pickup work for viola
Answer:	Hey, David. I use mine for a violin and haven't tried it on a viola. Are a violin bridge and a viola bridge the same size? Of they are, then it should work fine as little metal/copper part of the pickup is secured into the bridge. The piece is small enough that I know it wouldnt work for a cello, but Im not 100% sure about the viola.

Answer:	It does a bit, but is still by far the best pickup for a Acoustic instrument.

Answer:	The bar goes under the bottom edge of the violin. Tighten with the bar provided

Answer:	This clip is far from ideal, but it's the only one I've used. Your violin repair person may have to widen the curlicue on the bridge to accomodate it. If your not careful, you can snap a small piece of the bridge off. You do need a preamp. Get one with Bass, Trebble and Mid controls. I think Fishman makes one. Barcus Berry I don't know.

Answer:	Yes, I believe the level of performance would be the same on a left-hand and on a right-hand violin. Nevertheless, it would be best for the pickup to be set by a professional luthier who would make some adjustments.

Question:	i have a gibson mastertone banjo--but it looks like it doesn't have an end jack on it---just bare wires--do i have to soder and end jack on it
Answer:	It comes with a jack, but installation does require some soldering. I got mine professionally done so I wouldn't have to mess with the the installation, since I don't have a soldering iron.

Answer:	Yes it does, they're super tight though. I had to widen them a touch because I couldn't get them on my bridge and it was making the pickups slide everywhere

Answer:	Not sure why you would want to leave it on board, but I'm sure a bypass would be activated when the adapter is plugged in. You might want to ask Fishman. https://www.fishman.com/contact/ there is a message option.
Question:	Will this be able to get rid of a 60-cycle 60hz Feedback hum that is caused by something outside my home
Answer:	The Fishman Platinum Pro-EQ is not a hum filter, although there is a ground lift on the XLR output that may help to eliminate hum if you are using XLR. You might consider something like the Ebtech HE-2 or the Ebtech HUM-X or a similar hum-cancelling product to remove the hum from your system.
Question:	Bass players, is this your preferred effects pedal? If not, what is
Answer:	As a bass player who plays upright bass, electric bass and and guitar, I like how this works for all three. I got it mainly for my upright, but it works with my jazz bass as well as my acoustic guitar. Pretty sweet unit, especially when you consider the built in tuner.
Question:	Will it work for both an acoustic and electrics bass
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. I use it with my upright and then switch over to my modulus electric during some songs. Works fine, but sometimes I also run a Sansamp Bass DI in the chain for when I switch to electric for a meatier tone.

The Fishman Loudbox Mini Bluetooth is a combo amplifier intended for use with acoustic instruments and vocals. This amplifier sports Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connectivity for streaming backing tracks and other accompanying parts while you play. The Loudbox Mini Bluetooth can handle 60W at an SPL of 108 dB and provides two distinct channels: one with a 1/4" input for instruments and one with an XLR input for microphone signals. Each channel offers its own controls for gain, low, midrange, high, and reverb parameters. The instrument channel provides a phase switch to mitigate onstage feedback issues and has a chorus knob to add a bit of modulating character to your signal. A master volume controls the level of both channels. On the rear of the amplifier, you'll find both 3.5mm and 1/4" auxiliary inputs for playback devices. You'll also see an XLR DI output for routing sound straight to the house's PA, a mixing console, a recording interface, a slave amplifier, and more. The DI takes signal post-EQ and is ground isolated to prevent the humming caused by ground loops.

Answer:	It's intended for 6-string guitars. It picks up each of the individual strings, so I doubt it would work properly on a bass. Maybe on a 6-string bass, if it could be fit accordingly. Besides, this product is still in its infancy; it has potential but, as it is right now, it sounds more like a toy than a piece of professional musical equipment. It is still light years away from a product like the GR-55.

Answer:	If you have an older model, it’s probably not equipped with the Bluetooth option. Newer, Bluetooth units have a Bluetooth pairing button on the faceplate

Answer:	Yes, but please take note that one channel is for Balanced Input (Like Public Address/ Microphone using XLR or TRS plugs) and the other channel is for Unbalanced Inputs such as a guitar with 1/4" phone plug. You cannot plug Balanced into an Unbalanced Input or vise versa. Just go to an internet search and inter "Balanced verses Unbalanced Amplifier Inputs ". I think you will see pics and dwgs to describe the plugs. Good Luck!

Answer:	I don't thing the 1/4" output is stereo, so you would probably only get sound through one side of the headphones. I've never tried it myself.
