Answer:	The DP006 is an entry level 4-6 track recorder. It's not a professional board, but it does what it claims to do very well.

Answer:	Absolutely! However your results will depend on the placement of the device. You could record a live performance using either the internal mic or using external mics strategically located. This little unit is pretty diverse in it's application. Results depend on your recording acumen. Which develop over time.
Question:	Can you transfer your recording to a thumb drive
Answer:	You record individual tracks that are then mixed down by you into a stereo mp3 with this same unit. From there, you can do anything with the mp3 file - put it on a thumb drive, email it, upload it, etc. If you are asking "can you go directly to thumb drive?", I don't think there is an easy way. It has an SD card that you can take out and put in any card reader, then you would be able to transfer onto a thumb drive.

Answer:	It does need some sort of device to output sound. It is equipped for headphones. You can use any mic you like as well as a condenser if you have phantom power capabilities. The onboard mics are good quality as well.

Answer:	Definitely! 16 times/tracks. You can also do 2 tracks simultaneously, and if you have software on your computer, you can send two simultaneous tracks realtime into the software.

But, you can copy the entire recording several times into new projects then trim them to just the portion you want.

Answer:	Not sure how to but you can, that's made to record instrumentals and also vocals, I didn't need it because I make my instrumentals with a software so went with protools for vocals.

Answer:	There are two versions of this unit, the DP-24SD and the DP-32. The DP-24 has 12 mono channels and 6 "Fixed"stereo channels. The DP-32 has 8 mono channels and 10 stereo or mono channels. You can only record 8 tracks at once so either 8/mono or 4/stereo (each stereo channel counts as 2 tracks) or any combination not to exceed 8 tracks. The processing and Physical layout are the same pretty much the same.
Question:	The dp 32sd says you can record 8 inputs at one time. the comments here say you can only record 2 inputs at one time. which is correct
Answer:	Look at which version they are reviewing. This Amazon listing allows buyers to choose one of three different recorders...one being the 8 track which only allows 2 inputs. The customer reviews below include the combined comments for purchases of all three versions... so you are obviously reading comments directed towards the 8 track version. The 32 track recorder does in fact allow eight inputs with simultaneous recording.

Answer:	A spare battery is only 4.84 from Amazon and I use a 4g usb drive and it works perfectly they are also on Amazon for about 8$. I find the flash drive works better cause the sd card goes in pretty deep and is a little difficult to remove. I would like to add this a very good device better than I expected

Answer:	It sounds like there is a defective spring mechanism in the Micro Card slot.It's good you were able to finally hear your music, but a unit with the issue you're describing really should have been exchanged for a properly working replacement.

Answer:	This is a sound interface. All you need is sound drivers. There is no supplemental software.
Question:	Can the L-12 record a live stereo mix, or only multitrack
Answer:	What you can't do is record the next track at 24-bit/96kHz. That is you can record up to 12 tracks all at once at 24-bit/96kHz but then if you wanted to add another track to it while monitoring the first recording it has to be at 46kHz which is sub CD quality.
Question:	Can I save EQ’s and recall them from the save if they have been changed
Answer:	Yes! The EQ settings will be saved to your scene.

Answer:	No the faders are not motorized. When you switch between fader modes and scenes, LEDs indicate what the fader settings were last set on in the mode/scene you switch to. You move the fader manually to the lit setting if you want it there or want to change it.

USB Connectivity for Your DAW

As a 14-in/4-out USB audio interface, the L-12 offers limitless creative possibilities. Route signal from each input and the master fader output to any DAW at sample rates up to 48 kHz. You can even route signal from your DAW back into the L-12 on tracks 9/10 or 11/12, allowing you to easily add click or backing tracks to the main mix or monitor mixes.

Advanced Onboard Effects

There are 16 built-in effects, all with fully adjustable parameters. Choose from delay and reverb effects and send them to any channel.

Custom Scene Settings

Nine different scenes can save and recall custom mix settings automatically. Each scene saves fader position, EQ settings, pan, mute, and more. The “Fader Mode” buttons display and adjust mix output from the Master Out as well as Monitor Outs A through E.

Answer:	I don’t know if it fits the H6, but it fits my Tascam DR-40 with xy mics attached. It’s a perfect fit for the DR-40.

Answer:	71mm x 142mm to the shoulder of the arch; the peak is about 160mm.
Question:	Will zoom h5 fit in this
Answer:	Asfar as I know it's specifically designed for the Tascam DR40.

Answer:	I don't think so, I bought it for the dr40 recorder and that fits perfectly in the case without any plastic case. It is tailor made for that range of recorders.
