Relay G30 redefines the wireless experience for guitarists and bassists. Its superior sound, professional dependability and refreshing simplicity are unavailable from other wireless systems.
|
Superior Sound
Relay G30 provides a pure signal. Its clarity rivals that of the highest-quality guitar cables. Guitars get a beautiful high-end sparkle and basses get a thunderous low-end punch, even at distances of up to 30 meters. Traditional wireless systems compromise their sound by rolling-off crucial high- and low-end frequencies and compressing their signals. Relay G30 offers superior sound with full bandwidth and zero compression.
Professional Dependability
Relay G30 broadcasts its robust signal over the 2.4GHz band. This keeps the signal free from many kinds of interference. For added security, Relay G30 employs exclusive signal protection technology: it broadcasts an encrypted data stream on six channels simultaneously.
![]() Receiver features side-mounted 1/4-inch ins and outs and internal antennas, making it easy to add to a pedal board. |
![]() Switch between cable and wireless systems without having to adjust the tone settings on your amplifier. |
Traditional wireless systems, on the other hand, are susceptible to dropouts, static and many other kinds of interference. Broadcasting over congested UHF bands, their signals may be affected by interference generated as far away as 160 kilometers, or more.
Refreshing Simplicity
Relay G30 is a low-profile system that's easy to use. The lightweight transmitter remains out of the way of your performance, and the rugged receiver can sit on top of your amp or be added to your pedal board. The receiver offers easy-to-read LEDs that display power, status and battery life.
Attached to Your Guitar Cable?
For players attached to cables, adopting a wireless system introduces many questions: What will it feel like? Will it change my sound? Relay G30 sounds just like a cable, but it also sounds just like your cable. Relay G30 features two EQ settings that match the frequency responses of typical guitar cables. Different players use different cables, but all players can use Relay G30.
VWT
Exclusive VWT (Virtual Wire Transmission) technology ensures full-range frequency response, excellent transient response, and wide dynamic range - just like a high-quality guitar cable.
Superior Specs
Relay digital wireless systems produce full-range tones with 10Hz-20kHz frequency response, exceedingly low noise with up to 120dB dynamic range, and studio-quality resolution with 24-bit A/D conversion. (Comparably priced analog wireless systems offer 50Hz-15kHz frequency response and >90dB dynamic range. This wreaks havoc on your tone, especially if you use a high-gain amp.)
Cable Tone Simulation
Using a cable and a wireless system? Now you can switch back and forth without having to adjust the tone settings on your amplifier. Relay digital wireless systems feature a Cable Tone Simulator, which lets you match the sound of your Relay to the sound of your cable.
Compander-Free
Companders squash your signal and ruin your tone. Analog wireless systems require companders but Relay wireless systems do not. Remaining compander-free enables Relay to deliver a beautiful high-end sparkle, thunderous low-end punch, and touch response that analog wireless systems simply cannot deliver.
Remaining compander-free gives better sound than analog wireless systems.
DCL
Exclusive DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology automatically locks out all sources of interference. The only sound that will come out of your amplifier is you--not static, not Top 40 radio--just you.
2.4GHz broadcast
The best way to avoid interference? Don't get in its way. Relay digital wireless systems broadcast in the 2.4GHz band, which successfully avoids interference caused by TV stations, public safety broadcasts, cell phone towers, and other high-powered sources.
What About WiFi?
Worried about interference caused by 2.4GHz WiFi networks and Bluetooth devices? Don't be. Relay digital wireless systems use uniquely addressed and encoded digital transmission technology. Your tone will make it from your transmitter to your receiver free of interference.

User questions & answers
Question: | How long is the 1/4" cable that is included |
Answer: | Why wouldn't you, it's a GUITAR strap, and an acoustic is a GUITAR.... Don't listen to the dum dum who said it is made for electric guitars, as they are obviously clueless. |
Question: | Does the transmitter make any pop sound when you turn ON or OFF the power switch? This is important since it doesn't have a mute button like the G |
Answer: | It's a light purple sort of neon like but definitely not a wine color |
Question: | I'm looking at using this with an acoustic electric bass. I see lots of comments about how great it makes guitars sound, but nothing about a bass |
Answer: | They sure are. These come 100% ready to bolt on. The strap screws are slightly larger that the factory screws so screw them in slowly. |
Question: | Will the g30 work in usa and does it do good with a bottom b bass string |
Answer: | Depends on the shape of your guitar. I have a long (extra connector pack purchased separately) & short combo on the neck heel/ lower body of my SG and the neck strap sits on the horn and the lower sits on the body while in the case. It hasn't hurt anything. |

Question: | If i set up, for example 4 guitars on stage, can I have 4 recievers plugged into each guitar at once ? Will I be able to play them separately |
Answer: | It has a mini-din connection just like what you would plug into the back of a computer. Course you can buy connectors for anything and no it doesn't play out of both speakers, just one speaker will have the sound. Still a good little basic metronome. I've moved on to the Korg MA-1 and I like that one also. |

Radically Simple Design
We designed Relay G10 to be as easy to use as a standard guitar cable. Just plug in your guitar, and the transmitter and receiver select the optimum channel and lock together automatically. If you perform with multiple guitars, G10 makes it faster than ever to switch instruments on the fly—the transmitter is compatible with all types of guitars and transfers from one to the next in seconds. Plus, a separate XLR output and 1/4” output gives you greater flexibility in how you route your signal.
Fast and Simple Recharging
Some wireless systems use external batteries, which quickly gets expensive. Others require bulky and cumbersome charging stations. Relay uses a durable rechargeable transmitter that provides up to 6 hours of playing time on a single charge. When it’s not in use, G10 automatically goes into sleep mode, extending battery life up to 150 hours. And when you’re ready to recharge, simply dock the transmitter on the receiver. It’s the easiest and fastest way to recharge your system.
Get the Most Out of Your Performance
Relay is packed with innovative technology to fuel your performance. You’ll experience the same character and feel of a standard guitar cable thanks to innovative Cable Tone technology. Relay G10 also eliminates distracting pops when you plug in your guitar—the system only transmits signal once you’re completely connected. Finally, an illuminated receiver makes it easy to view sync and battery status at a glance.
Relay G10
For guitarists, nothing is more important than tone. We’ve been building guitar wireless longer than anyone else, and Relay is the only system that delivers your tone without compression or compromise. Featuring wider frequency response, next-generation technology, and more dynamic range than other wireless systems, Relay ensures that your signal gets to your amp in its purest form.
2.4GHz Signal—Free from Interference
Traditional analog wireless systems are plagued by interference from TV broadcasts, white space devices and other sources. Relay G10 operates in the 2.4GHz band, so there’s no danger of these external sources wreaking havoc with your signal. Encoded DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology distinguishes your Relay G10 audio from other signals—including WiFi—ensuring the integrity of your signal.
License-free, Worldwide
If you’re confused by the license fees required to operate an analog wireless system, don’t worry—Line 6 digital wireless systems eliminate that need. Relay G10 is fully FCC compliant and operates license free worldwide, from Hollywood to Tokyo.

User questions & answers
Question: | Can this system be used with active pickups or an acoustic with battery and preamp |
Answer: | This loos like quality cable, so I see no reason why it wouldn't be able to carry the full audio spectrum. The main concern I would have is whether or not the connectors will work for our intended use. |
Question: | May this be used for a lavalier microphone too |
Answer: | I don't know what connector the unipak uses - probably the same, but I urge you to check first. Remember though that this is a mono cable - not stereo. |
Question: | Can two of these be used at once? Will the frequencies interfere with each other |
Answer: | I call it a 4-pin Hirose, but that may be from the video world. |
Question: | Will this unit work for bass guitar |
Answer: | While holding fork leg, insert fork extensions into legs. Then use top cap/ or hand to torque extension to 35 pounds. Clamp onto extension to remove top cap and finish install. |

Question: | What size neotech pouch fits best? thinking a small ... fit like a glove? should i be looking at the levi instead |
Answer: | They appear to flicker. They are battery powered. You won’t get nine days non-stop out of the batteries. Replacement batteries are about the same price as new lights unless you can find a source that will give you a great price. If you need To run for nine days with no turn off, I’d just buy 2-3 times as many lights as you need and replace them as they die. Keep the old ones and do a mass battery replacement after your event is over. Bulk pricing on the batteries will be more competitive than buying just a few. I use mine at Christmas, and run them for 3-4 hours per night for 3-4 days. They last 2-3 seasons when used like that. Then I compare the price I can find on batteries vs just buying replacement batteries. You’re not talking about a lot of money either way.... |

Answer: | Yes, the transmitter has a strap clip. |
Question: | Will this work with a keyboard or synthesizer |
