Answer:	I have the mpd218 and it goes by how hard you press the button, there is a button labeled "full level" when it's lit no matter how soft or hard you hit the button its at the loudest level, make sure that button is not on

Question:	Can i play from it directly without installing the dj software on the laptop
Answer:	This is a controller....the buttons control something...so without the software it is pretty useless. It can control many types of software ( Ableton, VDJ, Traktor, etc...), but to play from it like a keyboard or trumpet is impossible.

Answer:	It is a usb cord that plugs into any wallncharger or computer

Question:	does this work with garageband? for mac
Answer:	Yes. If the software supports midi it will support this device. But I suggest just saving up a little more for an mpk25 or one of the other keyboard/drum pad combos. Also I was dissatisfied with the sensitivity of the pads themselves. Ended up reselling mine on craigslist within 2 months of buying it.

In addition, the Nanopad2 also had to pack in 16 great-feeling and dynamic-sensing pads – as well as leaving room for the X-Y touch pad! The Korg Nanopad2 does all this and more. In fact, there are four banks of pad assignments, providing a total of 64 pad assignments. The sixteen velocity-sensitive pads provide excellent response to your fingertips, and also realistically convey the playing feel to your sequencer or DAW software, ensuring that your drum parts will be full of life. Select "HUI" as type, NanoKotrol (slider/konb) for send to, and NanoKotrol (CNTRL) as the receive from port.

Answer:	Whoever designed packing for this product is an idiot. The cable is stuck behind a cardboard partition on one end of the box. If you opened the box from the wrong end you will not see the cable and it will look like the box only contains the manual and the controller. But yes, it does come with a cable.

Answer:	It depends on how alkaline your water is. This product is best for seeing changes of 1 pH or greater. You may need a digital pH meter to test drinking water.

Answer:	In order to use this with soil:1) ph water to around 6.5 before watering2) test runoff water (water coming out of drainage holes). you wanna make sure your initial ph is same as runoff ph. If its not, you have a build up of salts which needs to be flushed out with 6.5 ph'd water.

Answer:	it comes with the usb to the keyboard cord which is all the keyboard needs. since it takes the power from the pc it connects to.

Answer:	Not weighted, but as a lifelong pianist these keys are much better than the cheap non-weighted keyboards, I'd say semi-weighted for sure. Perhaps the other answer on here wasn't as experienced with technique to know the difference between this and the ones that are completely non-weighted. More control here without a doubt.

Answer:	They are however mine came with the signal setting on very very low. The editing Software was a joke and I never could get it to change any values on various different systems. Absolutely no help from support after numerous attempts

Answer:	No, it's a midi controller --- which means that the keyboard itself has no sounds and has no memory to store any sounds. So without a daws(digital audio work station) the keyboard is rendered useless, hence the no speaker. It isn't a bad controller though, I use it with ableton quite frequently.
