Answer:	I don't know about the AKAI, this is a midi controller, but once you buy it you get many links so you can download sounds, vst synths and FXs, I mean a lot...hope this works for you

Answer:	You would need an audio interface. The 1/4" jack on this keyboard is only for an expression pedal, so the keyboard can't send your Bass' audio to ableton. Check out the focusrite Scarlett interface for recording your instruments directly into Ableton.

By the way if you didn't know this is a midi controller and cannot standalone or produce sounds without being connected to a computer or to analog/digital hardware such as a synth or drum machine.

Answer:	These keys are semi weighted. This means that when you press down on them they have light to moderate resistance when pressed and will return less springy than a cheaper synth. Think between a regular piano and a cheap synth and that's the feel you get.

Answer:	I believe they mean you can send 1-6 commands with a single button click. I don't believe you can send one command with a click, then send a second, different command, with the next click of the same button. But there's always the possibility that you could send a certain MIDI CC command that is interpreted by your DAW in different ways, depending on the DAW's tools and/or scripting.

Answer:	Ableton actually recognizes this controller in the MiDI setup menu. The only drawback is that you need to manually set it up in Ableton each time you create a new playlist or set. I have used the Nektar “song” pedals with assigned MIDI notes to move between locators in my Ableton sets. The DAW control interface must be manually setup for play, stop, rewind, fast forward, etc. it’s a bit annoying, but once it’s set, it works perfectly. Check out the you tube tutorials for easy setup.

Answer:	I’m not sure. The device does not have any midi ports, it won’t be able to send midi signals directly to an analog keyboard. The only connection you can make is usb which will allow this device to act as a digital midi interface with pro audio software. Answer:	I wanted to connect my Yamaha p125 to my ipad and was told to buy that ridiculously expensive Apple Camera Adapter. Instead, I bought an Amazon Basics regular USB to iPad Pro USB adapter for around 10 bucks. Works the same and a whole lot cheaper. Don't believe me? Go to Sweetwater's website and look at the demo video using the Yamaha keyboard with the ipad Pro. You can see the same adapter.
Question:	Will this work with Mac Mojave
Answer:	This is from the M-Audio website FAQ's: Will the Keystation Mini 32 MK3 work with my Windows or Mac computer? Yes! The Keystation Mini 32 MK3 is a class-compliant device, which means that it's plug-and-play and does not require any drivers to be installed. This also means that it will work and is supported on the latest operating systems, including Windows 10 and Mac 10.14. The important take-away, for everyone, is this: "The Keystation Mini 32 MK3 is a class-compliant device".
Question:	Is the 49 key semi weighted as well
Answer:	I owned the Keystation 88 II, which has the semi-weighted feel. So, rather than guess at the answer to your question, I just checked the M-Audio website. Their description says that the Keystation 49 MK3 has a synth action. That type of action, typically, is a lighter spring feel than the semi-weighted feel. I actually liked the feel,of the 88 II. I owned two of them. One lasted four years. The second unit only one and a half years. I take particularly good care of my equipment. And don’t pound on the keys. However, they both failed far too soon, in my opinion. I have switched to the Nektar brand. Only time will tell about their durability. Good luck with your choice.

Question:	Can i play from it directly without installing the dj software on the laptop
Answer:	This is a controller....the buttons control something...so without the software it is pretty useless. It can control many types of software ( Ableton, VDJ, Traktor, etc...), but to play from it like a keyboard or trumpet is impossible.

Answer:	It is a usb cord that plugs into any wallncharger or computer

Question:	does this work with garageband? for mac
Answer:	Yes. If the software supports midi it will support this device. But I suggest just saving up a little more for an mpk25 or one of the other keyboard/drum pad combos. Also I was dissatisfied with the sensitivity of the pads themselves. Ended up reselling mine on craigslist within 2 months of buying it.
