Question:	Can i use the usb out to connect to my computer while still using channels 5/6 as an input
Answer:	No, it’s one or the other. There is a two position switch to choose.
Question:	Do I also need a separate headphone amp for a podcast or will this work
Answer:	No. You can plug in your headphone directly in the unit. It requires a 1/4 jack. If you are broadcasting live, you need to plug your headphone directly to the source you are broadcasting to, ie: computer mixer audio board output, otherwise you will get feedback, in this case, plugging to the Pyle unit won't help you. The Pyle unit's headphone jack will only let you hear the sound being mixed in the unit.

Answer:	The other responses are outright false or outdated. The streamdeck has the ability to create multiactions. So you can make a macro of win + R to open the run window. You can then add a text action and then a keyboard enter macro to run the program or do other more advanced things. By default the streamdeck supports key press macros with up to 2 keys. EX: ctrl + z as well as the ability to open other programs. However, the streamdeck also has a little marketplace for community made addons that give you even more power. For example if you need more advanced macros that require 3+ keys to be pressed at once there is a community addon for that. There is also a community application launcher that allows more advanced control over launching an application and allows you to pass startup options.
Question:	Could this be used as a switcher between multiple web cams? Kind of like a live news cast
Answer:	Yes! You can set keys to toggle different scenes and sources in OBS (and potentially other live video programs) so it can definitely be used as a switcher. We use it for live streaming on Facebook and it is great!

Question:	Can an acoustic electric guitar be plugged directly into the 1/4" input for clean recording
Answer:	The answer is yes but depends on the pre amps of your guitars pickup. Some electric guitars have better and more pickups then acoustic/electric guitars so they will need less gain from the recording device. I would say it would be fine for acoustic/ electric guitar if you have decent pickups. I would recommend recording acoustic guitar with the provided stereo microphone that are exceptionally good as they are made for the the zooms built in preamps. these microphones are condensor so they will be very precise in picking up the natural ambience and accoustic characteristics of your guitar. Question:	Is phantom power available for the additional 2 channel XLR accessory
Answer:	It is not.
Question:	Will it create separate audio files from 2 shotgun mics and 2 lav mics so I can then create my own mix in Post? Does it all go into one file
Answer:	The 4 XLR inputs create individual mono files from the mics attached. The attached mics, 2 at 90 degrees as shown in picture, create a single stereo file. All 5 of these files can be mixed using an audio package. I did this using 4 mics and the 90 degree onboard to record my nephews band playing a gig. I remixed the audio using those files and then laid that over the video track of same song. worked beautifully.

Answer:	I have the mpd218 and it goes by how hard you press the button, there is a button labeled "full level" when it's lit no matter how soft or hard you hit the button its at the loudest level, make sure that button is not on

Answer:	Physical inputs can be routed to multiple channels. Routing is done after the pre-amp, so if you have it on 3 channel strips they all share the one pre-amp but all other channel settings are separate. I use this for my pastor, one channel for singing and the other speaking, allows me to have different EQ settings and compression.

Answer:	I bought a full X32 when it was first released in 2012. I bought an X32 rack in 2013. Other than the learning curve at the beginning when I first used it, its been smooth sailing. Both the desks have held up well in my rental inventory. I own a small sound rental/hire business and I have been using both units quite a lot at concerts, corporate events, weddings and festivals for the past 3 to 4 years. Nothing has broken on either of my units, but I generally work alone or with a well skilled partner so I baby my equipment YMMV.
Question:	What cord do I need to hook this up to my Mac
Answer:	X32 Consoles that are over about 12 months old (about July 2013) have an XUF card that has both a USB 2.0 and a Firewire 800 port. My console has that card, but I have since purchased two X32 Racks and their expansion card is the XUSB card and it only has a USB 2.0 port (something about Apple not supporting the Firewire chip set anymore). I have done a lot of recording with both the console and the racks and have not had any problems with either. The XUSB card will connect to your PC or Mac and do a full 32 IN and 32 OUT to your DAW such that the DAW can control the console with remote control. Basically you just need to make sure that the Head Amps for each track are sending a hot signal, but NOT CLIPPING. That will screw up a tracks recording faster than anything. You can use compressors in the DAW to recover from too weak a signal, but you can't do anything about a clipped signal. For DAW's, I have used Presonus Studio One, Tracktion64, Pro Tools, and Apple Logic Pro X. I usually capture the tracks from a live recording using Studio One, but always do my mix down and mastering with Apple Logic Pro X. I have recorded 32 tracks without any problem.

Only you can play with "ON" and "OFF".I saw this information with the program MIDI-OX (Midi-ox is free software to monitoring the input and output commands from the midi device that you are using). And the info is next:90 00 7F 1 C -1 Note ON, where 90 is ON, 00 Note C -1 (fundamental C less an Octave. the button (rectangle) at lower and left), 7F some information, 1 is the Channel 1 (where i was connected).80 00 7F 1 C -1 Note OFF, where 80 is OFF, 00 is the Note C -1 (fundamental C less an Octave. the button (rectangle) at lower and left 7C), 1 is the Channel 1Sample:With a VST drum, in this case the snare. You can play the snare associate a button. Answer:	Hi Jose,AKAI support here! You will be able to use this with Logic Pro X with no issues. The APC Key 25 maps great with Ableton out of the box, but it still sends general MIDI messages that any other DAW uses. Answer:	Yeah it does. It works with most daws but its not the best for perfomance its primarily suited for composition
Question:	Do i have to buy ableton live to make music or does it come with a version of ableton that isnt a trial version
Answer:	Don’t listen to that person that said Ableton isn’t for production. That’s exactly what Ableton is for. You’ll still have to use a full version of Ableton Lite, standard or Suite to get access to all the features you need.
