Answer:	You have +/- 1.5", maybe 1 5/8" from the inside of the cover to the metal rails that you screw your rack components to with the cover in place. So depending on the plug used, that is what you have to work with.I have seen right angle plugs that wood work but not straight plugs, not enough space without stressing the connection at the cable/plug interface.i

Answer:	You would have to measure it width wise, but you'd still have at least half of the rack above available. You'd also have rack spaces on the other side if your gear isn't too deep.

Answer:	scenes can be stacked into chases (also known as shows) and the speed can be adjusted via the speed fader. One scene is shown at a time, but scenes can be recorded in whatever playback order you prefer (this is done when programming the chase).

Answer:	the short answer: depends on how many channels each light uses, and how many lights are sharing channels. the unit divides 384 channels into 12 "fixtures", or sets of 32 channels each. If you think of "fixtures" simply as a way of accessing the sets, then you can see that you are limited more by the number of channels on the instruments themselves. in the simplest case, you can set up 8 dimmer packs in 4 channel mode on each "fixture", with the capability of multiple dimmer packs bearing the same starting address, and the number of instruments on each dimmer pack limited by power requirements. Another way of looking at it: if you have four separate 9 channel (non-duplicating) instruments, you need 36 channels; you could assign each to a separate fixture, using the other 23 channels for other instruments. the correspondence of fixture-to-instrument is not explicit. there is an inconvenience with instruments that use more than 32 channels (e.g.., ADJ Mega Bar RGBA in 8 head mode takes 34 channels), so one instrument set requires more than one fixture. i definitely would suggest having the equivalent of a "magic sheet", so that you can keep the instruments and fixture/channel assignments documented and readily accessible - the display is very limited, so you really need to have a reference at hand. hope this helps. meow.
Question:	Should I get the cheaper one if I don't need the joystick
Answer:	If you don't need the joystick and are sure you will not need a joystick then by all means do not get a joystick. :) I bought this unit based on reviews and I felt the added features including the joystick was worth the money. With that being said if you just had a few basic DMX lights and just want to control colors, then this unit might be overkill and a simpler/cheaper unit may be better suited. I wanted to control the mirrors on my deluxe scan 250s to use them for spot lighting, so it was important that it had a joystick.

Answer:	No, Show Express is for Chauvet interfaces. There is a list of software that can be used with this at dmxsoft.com, all of which has to be bought in addition to the hardware. MyDMX3 is what it's intended to be used with (also costs $29 a year to get it out of express mode).
Question:	Will the go tablet app from adj work with this suite
Answer:	I haven't tried it, but based on the ADJ website specs I don't think so. This device is specified to only work with their PC/Mac software when attached by USB. The tablet software is targeted at users of the ADJ MYDMX-Go hardware ( https://www.amazon.com/ADJ-Lighting-controller-MYDMX-GO/dp/B07M7LGV6J ), which has WiFi in addition to USB. If you think about it, this makes sense, because while a PC controlling lighting will probably be in a fixed position, tablet users tend to wander around with their devices and so will prefer to attach wirelessly instead of being tethered to their DMX lines by a USB cable. Since the MYDMX-GO hardware has a USB port, too, it's really not missing anything on this device. Hence, I would only recommend getting this if you want to use ADJ's PC/Mac software instead of your tablet.

Answer:	it comes with the usb to the keyboard cord which is all the keyboard needs. since it takes the power from the pc it connects to.

Answer:	I use FL Studio 11 and it works just fine :)

Answer:	Yes-it works great with garage band.
Question:	Do the keys press smooth? Are the keys actually "semi-weighted" or "like semi-weighted" synth keys
Answer:	Not weighted, but as a lifelong pianist these keys are much better than the cheap non-weighted keyboards, I'd say semi-weighted for sure. Perhaps the other answer on here wasn't as experienced with technique to know the difference between this and the ones that are completely non-weighted. More control here without a doubt.
