Question: | How would you compare this to the tc electronics nova system |
Answer: | This pedal doesn't really compare with the nova system. The sounds are comparable, the way the foot pedal works is completely different you get six independent effects you can turn on and off like a stomp box on the nova system. the TC electronics pedal and M9 pedal are comparable in build quality. personal preference on which one sounds better. TC electronics nova system is for the gigging musician and this one may work well for some but not for me. Radically Simple Design
We designed Relay G10 to be as easy to use as a standard guitar cable. Just plug in your guitar, and the transmitter and receiver select the optimum channel and lock together automatically. If you perform with multiple guitars, G10 makes it faster than ever to switch instruments on the fly—the transmitter is compatible with all types of guitars and transfers from one to the next in seconds. Plus, a separate XLR output and 1/4” output gives you greater flexibility in how you route your signal.
Fast and Simple Recharging
Some wireless systems use external batteries, which quickly gets expensive. Others require bulky and cumbersome charging stations. Relay uses a durable rechargeable transmitter that provides up to 6 hours of playing time on a single charge. When it’s not in use, G10 automatically goes into sleep mode, extending battery life up to 150 hours. And when you’re ready to recharge, simply dock the transmitter on the receiver. It’s the easiest and fastest way to recharge your system.
Get the Most Out of Your Performance
Relay is packed with innovative technology to fuel your performance. You’ll experience the same character and feel of a standard guitar cable thanks to innovative Cable Tone technology. Relay G10 also eliminates distracting pops when you plug in your guitar—the system only transmits signal once you’re completely connected. Finally, an illuminated receiver makes it easy to view sync and battery status at a glance.
Relay G10
For guitarists, nothing is more important than tone. We’ve been building guitar wireless longer than anyone else, and Relay is the only system that delivers your tone without compression or compromise. Featuring wider frequency response, next-generation technology, and more dynamic range than other wireless systems, Relay ensures that your signal gets to your amp in its purest form.
2.4GHz Signal—Free from Interference
Traditional analog wireless systems are plagued by interference from TV broadcasts, white space devices and other sources. Relay G10 operates in the 2.4GHz band, so there’s no danger of these external sources wreaking havoc with your signal. Encoded DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology distinguishes your Relay G10 audio from other signals—including WiFi—ensuring the integrity of your signal.
License-free, Worldwide
If you’re confused by the license fees required to operate an analog wireless system, don’t worry—Line 6 digital wireless systems eliminate that need. Relay G10 is fully FCC compliant and operates license free worldwide, from Hollywood to Tokyo.

Question: | If i set up, for example 4 guitars on stage, can I have 4 recievers plugged into each guitar at once ? Will I be able to play them separately |
Answer: | It has a mini-din connection just like what you would plug into the back of a computer. Course you can buy connectors for anything and no it doesn't play out of both speakers, just one speaker will have the sound. Still a good little basic metronome. I've moved on to the Korg MA-1 and I like that one also. |

Question: | I read one ding in the reviews, but does anyone else play an instrument with onboard active electronics through the G10S |

Question: | Does the base unit have any option for battery |

User questions & answers
Question: | How is the reverb? My tank tanked on my blues jr. Thinking of just buying a pod. Thoughts |
Answer: | Hi KarenHmmmmm... interesting problem. Yes, the 'Display' is stuck on B, but when you tune to other notes, does the Tuner respond? The Tuner may still be working provided you KNOW which note you are approximate too. Yes, that could be dangerous in situations where you are winding on a new string, and using the Tuner to let you know where you are at. also, I am assuming that you have tried 'shaking it loose' by trying All the Strings one at a time. You see, if you see an Octave as 11 Notes (the 12th of the Chromatic Scale being the Octave higher of the 1st note) then you might notice that a lot of Tuners are fooled by the 5Th, for instance, if you play an E, it will show a B. I still have mine, but the Jaws broke and so I keep it around for tuning Violins which you can't clip onto anything anyway. I really didn't like the D'Addario Tuner. Their Strings are GREAT, but they are obviously NOT in the Tuner Business in a serious way. My SNARKS seem to last a while, and if you get more than one, well, some of the parts can be swooped out -- you can make One Good One out of Two Bad Ones, as long as you don't break the Same Thing on both. Oh, if you get a Snark, get the cheap one -- they are All basically the same, but for Marketing Reasons it is always good to have an Up Scale Model, because about 20% of your Customers ALWAYS buy the Best, which is like Free Money to the Producer who simply only has to paint the Cheap One a different color to charge 50% more. |
Question: | Can I plug headphones in directly and bypass the need for an amp |
Answer: | Wide calibration range 410 – 480Hz, but I don't think it remains there once you power off. |
Question: | Hello..can it be connected to a foot pedal to activate remotely |
Answer: | I read the entire manual, it doesn't give this info. You will probably have to contact Korg directly for this. |
Question: | Is this thing capable of making the guitar sound Djenty, i.e After The Burial, Volumes, Veil of Maya |
Answer: | Once you’ve hit the little red button, it will tick as long as the life of the battery, I’m assuming. So, yes, it will tick for 90 minutes. Also the tick is loud as a clock. It does so many things,,,,and I think, the best metronome on the market. |

Perform Live while Traveling Light
With Sonic Port and your iOS device, you can take the exact same tones from your home studio to the stage. Dial in your Mobile POD presets in the studio, then use Sonic Port and your iOS device to replace a heavy, cumbersome pedalboard when you perform live.
Simply connect Sonic Port between your guitar and your amp using standard 1/4” cables—then use the Mobile POD app to instantly recall your whole effects chain for every song in your set list. It’s the easiest way to get the exact same tones every time.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is there an instructional video or website that helps me use it with Jam up |
Answer: | No. The throat doesn't open far enough. The product literature say the throat only opens to 1.58 inches or 4 cm. I was able to increase it to 1.75 inches by removing the little rubber pads which made it just large enough for my viola. So unless you have a really skinny uke, this will not fit. I would think a tuner that clamps on to your peghead would work just fine. |
Question: | Does it work with an iPad 3rd generation |
Answer: | It might cut base strings but not for long. It isn’t heavy duty enough for the heavier gage strings in my opinion. I would look for a good dedicated cutter of better quality. These are fine for guitar strings. |
Question: | Does this item come with the necessary cables? I have an iPhone 4 which has a large 30pin port on it |
Answer: | No. The PW-CT-12 is designed to attach to the D'Addario capo (the PW-CP-10). |
Question: | Is there a way to connect the sonic port channel, the guitar and ios device to a laptop or PC to hear the whole sound in the laptop speakers |
Answer: | 2032 |
