Question:	Is this overkill for some one who needs a point and shoot and doesn't know how to use a camera
Answer:	As a "bridge" camera, it has a lot of the features of a full SLR camera (in fact, the only thing else I'd expect from a better camera would be time-lapse and a detachable lens). Of about 8 settings, there is one that functions effectively as full point-and-shoot mode, and you need not ever venture from it. But as situations come up where you want to experiment, you can explore the different modes, and once you're good at them, you'll gradually grow into all the features.
Question:	Does the camera come with any accessories besides the battery
Answer:	It comes with the battery and charger and shoulder strap. It has built-in wifi, so there's no need for a USB cable, though it does have a port. It's small and quite lightweight. I hope this was helpful to you

Answer:	The pixel count is twice that of a really good phone (iPhone 6 for say) and half that of an entry level dslr. The 4.3 -215mm lens ensures that any range you shoot from will be fine. When I bought this camera, I was hoping for blurred backgrounds but this camera doesn't have an adjustable f ratio. The quality is very nice. If you're interested in the video quality it's always grainy and the built in mic not only sucks as a mic but also pucks up all the extra sound the camera starts making when you enter this mode. There is not mic jack. I bought this camera as a starter but I recommend upgrading to the Nikon d3100 or d3200. I have found that Nikon gives better deals for better cameras. The cameras I recommended are about $100 more and 100% worth the upgrade. They have twice the pixel count, interchangeable lenses, a controllable f stop, viewfinder, and ect. It's definitely worth it. I shoot every day and have found that this camera, despite the huge step up from what I was using before, is limiting me in what I can do.

Answer:	I believe you only have to lift the hidden light immediately above where it says Canon in white and in front of where it says PowerShot SX360 HS near the top middle of the camera...

Question:	can I vlog or film without a special microphone attached? I mean does the camera have a microphone to record without having to plug in my microphone
Answer:	The camera has a built-in microphone but I would not use it as your primary microphone. Since it is built into the body of the camera it picks up internal noise including auto-focusing as well as handling noise. Canon is notorious for not caring about the audio quality. They have improved a lot with their pro models, I would consider using the audio from the 5D mkIV with better sound isolation from the camera and much less noise (and they finally included a headphone jack so you can monitor the audio). Unfortunately, to my knowledge, they have not done that with the consumer level models like the SL2.
Question:	Does the camera come with a neck strap? and what is included in the package
Answer:	It comes with the strap, battery and charger, camera, and manual. Sometimes it comes with a lens too, if you choose that option. Question:	Does the white body and lens get dirty quick
Answer:	I’ve had a white SL1 for about 3 years now, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. I had the same concern as you, and worried that over time the white plastic would turn yellow from the oil on my hands or that the camera would just start to look dirty. It hasn’t, and I use the camera quite a lot.
Question:	Would this camera be better than the 70D in terms of video and photo
Answer:	One is not better than the other - they are just different. The 70D is faster and weather sealed, the SL2 is lighter/much smaller, cheaper and also includes some new features on the menu that could make your life easier. As far as video and photo quality - they will be very similar (both being APS-C sensors etc..) If this is going to be your primary camera and your super serious about photography the 70D may give you more satisfaction. If this is your first camera - there is no reason to pay the extra $300, with a good lens you will get great photos.

Answer:	It does a decent zoom, but if you want true zoom in or out, I suggest another lens. I only use mine for family photos, etc, and outings, but I may invest in another lens for close and father shots. I have a hummingbird nest on my patio, and I find the basic lens doesn't quite do the job of catching the tiny egg and details, and for distance it only goes so far.

Answer:	Some people consider the D3400 a better camera than the D3500 due to the elimination of the "Function" button on the front of the camera that was accessible with the photographer's left hand that allows the ISO setting to be changer with the right thumb wheel while looking through the viewfinder. Also the IR remote shutter control was eliminated. I believe from what I read that all this was done to reduce the size (the body is the same as the D5600) and weight of the camera, improve battery life, and reduce manufacturing cost. Nikon does have a free app for your smart phone, SnapBridge App, that allows your smart phone to act as a remote shutter control and can automatically send your pictures (reduced resolution) to your smart phone. So to answer your question - I don't believe the the D3500 is an upgrade or a downgrade to the D3400 just the next in their line of "Beginner" DSLR Cameras.

When activated, the internal processor will display a colored highlight on the screen where sharp edges appear. You can switch the putline color between red, green, blue according to different tone of the subject.

Answer:	Yes, The d7100 has a built in focusing motor. If you use a one of the D5000 series or D3000 series as a back up you will need to learn how to use the rangefinder manual focus option. Which isn't bad is fading light, but under true low light conditions is very clumsy. You also can't use the range finder on full manual for some reason. Which is a pain because I bought mine for studio work.
