Hearing that we might have over-corrected, we have since added length back to the attachment straps. New shipments going forward should have the longer straps. Answer:	Yes it Def could. We had to hang some toys for when our little guy was just on his back all the time. It’s perfect now when he’s sitting and playing. Hope this helps

Answer:	Pad itself unvelcros from wooden bars and can be put in washer using cold water and gentle cycle. And it says to air dry it after. I haven’t tried washing it yet but it does seem fairly easy to undo and wash. Instructions say the rest of the items should be wiped clean
