The amp is rated at 360W per channel assuming the specs are a bit exaggerated as manufacturers tend to do. I ran karaoke with this amp to 2 BOSE 401 rated at 10-200 watts 4-8 ohms and ran just fine, You would most likely be ok using restraint on the VOLUME and do not overdrive the speaker or you risk blowing it. you could probable push 150 to the Sony and be ok as well. the key is to listen for distortion and turn it DOWN...this is by no means from a professional point of view just my own personal experience with this amp and speakers. You could also wire the speakers in parallel at 4 ohms which then increases the power requirements of the amp. Google parallell speaker wiring you will understand more. My thoughts are the amp and speakers are close enough is specs to run well provided not overdriven is the bottom line. HOWEVER it is only my opinion and experience with this amp. |

| Answer: | there could be a an easy answer, take off all the players connected first and see if you still have the sound there of the hum, if so, it could be a bad wiring where the power is, there are hum suppressors that can help get it out, some audio leads can course it too, I have it with my computer putting a hum in it, but laptops can do the same, some fans can make the sound as well, but check the volts and hz to make sure it is the right, and do know connect the lighting on the same line the audio is on as well it can make a hum sound, all this is what I have pick up in working in nite clubs, pubs and doing mobile disco. |
