Answer:	The top bit (the rectangle with Sony on it) slides down, revealing the lens. I wouldn't buy it, though - I'm one of several users (suggesting there's a design fault) reporting that it vibrates uncontrollably - a really stupid flaw as it makes your pictures blurry. Got rid of it years ago.
