Answer: | No |
Question: | Will it fit the heil pr40 mic |
Answer: | after measuring it where the threads start to catch and tighten... could manage up to an 1.25 inch diameter |
Question: | Are the base threads |

User questions & answers
Question: | How do I get parts? The chain broke at top |
Answer: | I lowered mine to find the answer. From the top (boom holder) to the bottom was 23 inches. Add the distance from floor with legs extended for maximum stability to bottom was 3.5 inches. How you adjust the boom will add some overall height. I use mine for the ride cymbal. |
Question: | Does the foot board fold up for transport/packing |
Answer: | Don't know for sure, but Atlas Sound is based in Phoenix, AZ. It is part of a company called MTX. Google maps shows what appears to be a large manufacturing facility in Phoenix. |
Question: | There is a review on this hihat stand form a guy at Musician's friend. he submitted a photo of a part that snaped off and rendered this hihat useless after just hours of use. He believes that it was because of the 3 point base being so stable that all the impact of pumping it causes this piece to break. He contacted Lu |
Answer: | It depends on what mic you are going to use. Any clip will fit onto the stand...they are universal (with or without the adapters) and are fairly cheap. I have several mics and use this stand in front of an amp through to the head. It is well made and performed flawlessly. |
