Answer:	I’m assuming you would go with your DJ controller into this unit, then you could send the out to the sub and PA speaker. You might also be able to run a separate aux out to the sub and just give it more when you need to. Personally I would get a mackie 802 before I buy this.

Answer:	Yes, I hook mine up to 2 crown Amps. I run them bridged made use one for the left channel and one for the right channel.
Question:	Can this be used for live performance with output to PA and monitor ( one vocal and acoustic guitar
Answer:	Yes you can. You have stereo monitor outs (called Control Room) as well as main outs, and they have independent controls. The control room outs share the same level as the HEADPHONES out, though. You do have an extra AUX out that can serve as a different send to a monitor, but it is mono.

Answer:	This lift is used along with a sling, which is listed as "Full Body Patient Lift Sling With Commode Cutout Option No/Large" offered by What A Deals. (There is no commode cutout). The patient doesn't have to participate or hang on to it. The sling has loops which are placed onto the lift. If the patient has fallen, he is turned on his side and rolled onto the sling and then lifted.

Answer:	I have used it successfully to put someone in a SUV. It is easier to put the person in the front passenger seat though.

Answer:	Hello, 2x4 means that you have a stereo send to the computer and two stereo returns from your computer. The stereo output (1-2) to your computer can be used for recording, VOIP, etc, and you can return two distinct stereo tracks (1-2, 3-4) from your Mac/PC giving you the ability to route audio from different applications (DAW, Spotify, Youtube, etc) or sources (.mp3/WAV playback) from within your computer.
Question:	I see that the mackie profx12v3 has a 48v phantom power switch. can non-phantom and phantom mikes be used at the same time? one be on, others off
Answer:	Yes. Condenser microphones often require 48V phantom power. When the 48V phantom power switch is engaged on ProFX series mixers all channels have this extra voltage available. With phantom power, the voltage is effectively invisible to balanced microphones that do not use it, which includes most dynamic microphones.

Question:	How do I hook this up to my laptop? There was no USB connection in the box. Does this need to be purchased separately
Answer:	If you look at Page 7 of the manual, you can feed your computer sound card inputs using the ALT 3/4 Outputs. While it is not a USB connection, it does allow audio to be captured on the computer depending on what program you are using.
Question:	What function do the channel insert ports on the back serve? Am I able to use those to send each individual channel out to an audio interface
Answer:	Each channel has an effect send/insert. Yes, you can send individual channels for processing, then send back to the mix. For example, you may want a compressor on channel 1, a phaser on channel 2, etc. There is also a pair of Aux Sends that will work with the entire mix. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can you route the audio inputs into separate audio outputs with this
Answer:	Yeah you can, with limitations. The mute buttons route the channel to a second output. So basically you can have two buss groups. You can also play a trick with the Aux send, using it as another buss. You can't have each individual channel on it's own output, however.
Question:	how connect to computer for broadcast
Answer:	I connect mine to my mac using a Griffin Technology iMic - The original USB Stereo Input and Output Audio Adapter. The "In" for the adaptor goes into the Main Out on the mixer and the Out of the adaptor goes into the Tape In on the mixer. Hope that helps you

If I purchase a powered mixer do I want a powered or unpowered mixer

Answer:

An unpowered mixer is like the old stereo component sets where you have the power amp and the receiver that you add with the radio and you can also add a turntable. the powered amp is like having all of that attached in one case. Powered mixer gives you less stuff to transport while unpowered gives you a more control and a monster audio mixer but a lot more stuff to lug around. you also need to figure out what's important to you specifically, how many inputs and outputs and the master output.

The integrated 2x4 USB audio interface offers high-quality 24-bit / 192 kHz recording and playback with zero-latency monitoring.



Channels 1-2 offer combo XLR-1/4" mic/line connections and a Hi-Z switch (for guitar and bass), while channels 3-4 offer XLR or 1/4" inputs. Channels 1-4 include inserts, and single-knob compression. Channels 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 offer two 1/4" inputs, while channel 11/12 uses a 3.5mm stereo input. Channels 1-10 feature gain controls, a 3-band EQ, an aux (monitor) send, a dedicated FX send, pan, mute, and level faders. Engaging channel 11/12's USB 3-4 switch will override the 3.5mm input and enable the USB return from a computer.



The ProFX12v3 features a download for ProTools I First software and The Musician's Collection plug-in package including 23 high-quality plugins with BBD Delay, Level Lite, 304E EQ, and 304C Compressor. You also get Tracktion's Waveform OEM and the DAW Essentials Collection. To authorize the software, simply input the mixer's serial number into the website.
