User questions & answers
Question: | Is the fan loud |
Answer: | Not bad at all. I would never use an amp like this in a studio setting, but for anything live, the fans have never been an issue for me. |
Question: | would this power 2 8 ohm monitors,4 8 ohm speakers and 2 peavey |
Answer: | The amp is stable to 2ohms per side or 4ohms total if bridged. If you're running 2x8ohm cabs on one channel for a total of 4ohms and 4x8ohm cabs on the other channel for 2ohms you should be good (with the caveat that cab ratings are nominal and therefore a 'moving target' depending on what you're feeding them). I don't know where the Peavey 2x215's fit in since you don't list their impedance ratings, but I'd suggest that they'd be too much for this setup anyway. |
Question: | I have the jbl jrx 225 pair and jrx 218s 18" passive subwoofer pair looking for an amp to drive these for a band |
Answer: | HI rico.You need 2 amp. Peavey IPR 3000.1 amp. For the 2 jrx 215 (mid/hi).1 amp. For the 2 jrx 218 (low).Good Luck. |
Question: | Is this amp brodge-mono capable |
Answer: | Yes it is. |

Question: | How do you use it with a microphone |

I personally like the acoustic brand amps for my microphones they are designed for an electric acoustic guitar and have xlr inputs and the reverb settings work well with microphones. Peavey also makes awesome products for running microphones check out there website you will find what you need rosemary. Sincerily Rick Barkle |

User questions & answers
Question: | Speaker cable gauge |
Answer: | Not sure exactly what your question is on the mixer. The mixer will work most standard speaker cable gauge or thickness. I recommend a thicker gauge so you get better audio quality. But if the cable you are wondering about is a manufactured speaker cable for pro audio it should work. |
Question: | Can someone tell what comes in the box along with the mixer |
Answer: | Nothing else comes in the box except for a plug. |
Question: | With the bt feature does this allow for pairing with BT headphone for audio output |
Answer: | I only use it to hook up my phone or my computer. More like an input, not an output. |
Question: | i try to pair my iPad or iPhone to bluetooth, i am asked for a pin. I don't know what pin to enter |
Answer: | With our unit, the PIN is 7878, printed just above the power button next to the Bluetooth logo and the word “PIN.” |

Question: | Are these 8ohm |
Answer: | Yes, this is an 8-ohm speaker, according to Peavey's specs from their website. Here's a link to their Pro 12 web page. https://peavey.com/products/index.cfm/item/717/112942Hope this helps! |
Question: | How much watts is it rated for |
Answer: | From the Peavey website's Pro 12 specifications page, here is the watt rating info:Power capacity: 800 W Peak 400 W Program 200 W Continuous.Hope this helps! |
Question: | what is a better quality upgrade speaker for the Peavy pr12 bass driver |
Answer: | I'm afraid I can't give a suggestion of what would be better. I purchased this to be a drop-in replacement for a low-cost Peavey stage monitor with a blown 12 bass driver. The price was right and it had a higher watt rating than the original Peavey in the cabinet. Low to midrange frequencies of the new driver are strong and accurate. Worked as a replacement for my needs. |
