| Answer: | HI, apologize, but I can't find official word from Fender anywhere on the impedance of that amp. I see it comes in two 10 and four 10 variations, (thought I've only ever played a 210 or separate head unit and never owned one). As long as you wire the speakers to the correct impedance that should be fine. I see some forums where people are arguing whether the four 10 cabinet is 8 ohms or 2 ohms. The cabinet pictured in that forum is wired series parallel, which would put you back at the impedance you started on your speakers. Another guy says it's fully parallel, which would give you an impedance a fourth of what you started with (divide by 2, then divide by 2 again). Which wiring is correct I can't find. But if you know your impedance and how to wire the speakers you get to that impedance, these will work fine. They will not be similar to the original speakers, but will be excellent bass speakers, and ok guitar speakers in a Bassman. Have a great day! |
