Question:	Is the height adjustable in specific increments (every inch?) or infinitely? Also how do the columns lock together if at all
Answer:	Yes they can be adjust at what ever height you choose. They also have pin safety lock holes every 4 inches or so. The locking mechanism is a screw clamp gripping method. Very sturdy. Mine are on the stands 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. With 50 lbs to 60 lbs. No wobble or slipping. No issues what so ever.
