Question: | My family has two appartments next to each other, both separate electrical installations. Would this work if we wanted to split the internet bill |
Answer: | Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID. |
Question: | Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good |
Answer: | If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no. |
Question: | Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range |
Answer: | the input voltage is from 100 to 240 volts |
Question: | I don't understand how some people give this 4-5 stars and others can't get it to work and give it 1 star |
Answer: | there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself. |

Woofers that deliver a cleaner overall sound.
Every Eris-series studio monitor utilizes a woven composite, low-frequency driver. The weave and nature of the Eris E4.5’s 4.5-inch woofer result in a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, resulting in less time-smeared audio and cleaner overall sound.
Smooth high end and wide sweet spot.
Each Eris monitor is equipped with a silk dome tweeter that produces a smooth and refined sound, accurately reproducing transients and high frequencies. The tweeter is designed to radiate sound with a fairly wide dispersion pattern, creating a large optimal listening area or “sweet spot” so you can move around and still hear everything accurately.
Connect to virtually any line-level source.
With three different types of audio inputs, it’s easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The Eris E4.5 is equipped with stereo ¼”, 1/8”, and RCA inputs. With this selection, you’ll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up with virtually any line-level source, including your smartphone. The Eris E4.5s are also equipped with a headphone amplifier so you can check your mix on your favorite headphones or quickly cut an overdub without repatching cables.
Accuracy defined.
Like all PreSonus studio monitors, the Eris E4.5 offers consistent, accurate listening. Their compact and powerful design makes them an ideal solution for home and professional studios alike. Their smooth and even frequency response have made Eris monitors one of the fastest growing studio monitor lines in the world. Hear them at your favorite PreSonus dealer.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this come with cables |
Answer: | This speaker comes with a power cable, but audio cables are not included. The speaker has one XLR and one 1/4" TRS connector, so you can purchase whatever cables work with your system. |
Question: | How's the bass on this? Is it boomy or muddy |
Answer: | Realistically, if you are working with contemporary EDM or any electronic music with sounds below 45Hz, you need a sub. Don't get me wrong, the LSR305s are excellent, clearer than the 308s. For material like Country, the bass is sufficient. Even for Rap and EDM you can adjust and place them just right, and estimate how things will sound on a big club or car system. But pairing the LSR305s with e.g. a LSR310S sub gives you the real thing, though sub placement is SO critical it's another rabbit hole. |
Question: | Do these hiss? I sent back lsr305 due to the hissy tweeters |
Answer: | Some do. It’s normal. on the ones that do they are extremely quiet. The “hiss” is only audible while the speakers are not in use and is caused by the internal amp. I wouldn’t call it a hiss as much as it is just static noise from the amps unused electricity. If you don’t like that, maybe these aren’t the ones for you. But I will say that most other powered monitors I have used make this exact same noise. With mine mounted on the wall about 2 feet in front of me and 2 feet above me pointed down at my seat I cannot hear the hiss until ~90%+ volume, And again, exclusively when they are not in use. Hope this helps. |
Question: | What cables do I need to connect these to my computer |
Answer: | If you are wanting to connect to computer or a cellphone with a 3.5mm jack then do an Amazon search on "3.5 mm TRS to Dual XLR3M Stereo Breakout Cable" or "3.5mm TRS to Dual 1/8 inch TS Stereo Breakout Cable". |

User questions & answers
Question: | Anyone know where these are made? Are they made in China like many competitor's models |
Answer: | These are made at Beyerdynamic factory in Germany. All of Beyerdynamics large on-ear headphones are made in Germany. Some of the companies in-ears are made in China but 90% of their products are made in Germany. |
Question: | Given the prices $180 for 32 ohms, $278 for 80 ohms, and $170 for 250 ohms, which one should I buy for 98% amp-less listening |
Answer: | For an amp-less setup the 32 Ohm are the way to go. Yes you can use the 80 Ohms non-amp'd (the 250s are not recommended for this), but your listening levels are going to be limited (how many dB you get out of them). Beyerdynamic created a set of low-impedance for a reason - and if your laptop / phone / or PC with no external amp/dac or amp'd internal card are your primary use...then you have your answer. |
Question: | Does the 30 ohms have the same bass output if it is connected to an amp compare with the 250 ohms |
Answer: | I am looking at this 250 ohm headphone because it has a high impedance. I build a vacuum tube amplifier with a nominal impedance of 600 ohms. Although it seems to drive 32 ohm headphones, it will work better with headphones closer to 600. The high voltage changes needed to drive high impedance headphones do not carry a lot of current, but they do carry much detail. I tend to believe that high impedance headphones will be more responsive and defined than lower impedance headphones, but their hardware requirements are different. Small mobile devices don't have high voltages in them to generate signals for high impedance headphones, which is why low impedance is standardized, and even then, many devices lack the power to drive the bass on them. A dedicated amp is the extra hardware to fill out a quality signal. So even poor quality headphones can sound better when driven by the appropriate source. In the end, your headphones will not improve the sound significantly if you do not have an amplifier to back them up, though I still think higher impedance phones will result in a better sound. |
Question: | How does this compare to the Audio Technica M50x |
Answer: | For me, the 2 sound very different from each other. The soundstage of the M50x is pretty narrow while the soundstage of the DT 770 (I’ve only heard the 250 ohm) is very wide for a closed-back. The sound signature of the DT 770 is actually more neutral than the M50x. The M50x is commonly attributed with a V shaped signature, but it’s a pretty wide/flattened V (more like a smile or reverse check mark). The DT 770 (250 ohm) has one of the more neutral signatures out of headphones in this price range/class (you can look up the sound graphs for it to see it’s pretty neutral). I like the velour pads of the DT 770 way more than the pleather pads of the M50x (I will say it’s a big improvement over the M50 pads). The M50x folds up quite well while the DT 770 doesn’t fold up at all. If you plan on packing it, the M50x will take up less space even if you used a case for it. The detachable cable of the M50x also allows it to be stored without risking damage to the cable. Of course, if you’re getting the 250 ohm DT 770, you’re going to need an amplifier while the M50x can be run without one (though it does sound better with one). I’d honestly recommend that you pick out between 5-10 tracks from your library that you know really well and listen to how both headphones reproduce the audio because 1) your ears are unique to you, 2) your preferences for certain specific details are unique to you, and 3) the more headphones you try the more you’ll be able to pick out the sound that you like the most. I modified my M50x with the hybrid Brainwavs Pads and added 2 small vents in the cups to cut the low and high down and make it more neutral as well as open up the soundstage to have better separation (and velour-leather hybrid provides benefits from both worlds regarding comfort-to-leakage). I power the DT 770 with a Phil Jones Big Head DAC/amp. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do these headphones come with a carrying case |
Answer: | No, they don't come, but I suggest to buy a case just in case. If you don't want to, buy it without a case, those are durable headphones, but you never know if you'll need the case to carry them in a bag, back pack, carry on. |
Question: | How does this compare to the ATH-M30? And how comfortable is it for extended hours of use |
Answer: | I can only respond to the 2nd part of your question as I have not tried the ATH-M30, but the ATH M20X was (for me) extremely uncomfortable even after using for only a short period of time. This was due to the, IMO, excessive heat build-up which literally caused pools of sweat to collect inside the earpieces. I returned the headset after a few days. |
Question: | are these good for big heads? i have trouble finding headphones that fit comfortably over my big head. also i wear glasses if that helps |
Answer: | They are pretty tight on the head, and they go over the ear, so if you're wearing glasses the soft part will push on your frames. I can't wear my glasses with them because I find it too uncomfortable. It might be better to look at on ear, rather than around ear headphones. That said, I've been able to loosen the headphones a lot by bending the the metal headband. If you're not afraid to do that with $50 then you might be able to get them to a comfortable "clamp" amount, haha. |
Question: | Are these noise-canceling enough to wear on a plane and not hear the plane noise |
Answer: | They do NOT have electronic noise canceling. They are over the ear. The cups absorb outside sound but not enough that would be considered "noise cancelling". They're mainly for DJ's, home, and professional studio producers who use them because electronic "Noise Cancelling" tech interferes with recordings. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Hi.does this fit a pair of HS |
Answer: | Yep! I bought mine specifically for HS 8's and they work great. There's a little bit of overhang, but the rubber feet keep them in place and they look good with the speakers too. |
Question: | are they compatible for Dynaudio Xeo 20 speakers |
Answer: | I use the Fluid Audio DS8's with KRK RP-8 Gen 2's which measure 298mm x 275mm x 394mm and weigh in at 12Kg. Looking at the specs of the Dynaudio Xeo 20's they should fit on these stands just fine. |
Question: | Is this a pair (2 stands) or just 1? The listing says pair, just want to double check |
Answer: | Yes it comes as a pair in the box |
Question: | Will they work for krk rokit 6 speakers |
Answer: | Yes they are compatible with the KRK Rokit 6 |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can i mount on a 5/8" tempered glass desk |
Answer: | Hello, We wouldn't recommend this. The Clamping material is not safe for glass and could easily damage your desk. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any other questions please reach out to us at [email protected]. Thanks! |
Question: | When will these be in stock |
Answer: | Hello, We are working our best to have these available and in stock within the coming weeks. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot give a specific ETA. However, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] for updates on when these may be available via the Amazon Platform. Thanks! |
Question: | Just received my order and it didn't come with assembly screws. Is this normal |
Answer: | No is bad. |
Question: | Can you secure the speakers to the stand using screws |
Answer: | Hello, We have not outfitted this speaker stand with the ability to have the speakers set in place with screws. Furthermore, to DIY with this would require you drilling holes through the metal base of this stand, which we cannot advise. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will provide this to our product team as valuable feedback for future improvements. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. Thanks! |
